I understand that Legato is very different in the manga than the anime, and for the nth time, I wish I could read the manga! I really like this guy, and I really like your look into his mind. He's the quintessential creepy lackey, because he's not blinded by his desire to serve Knives, but he's completely loyal. Smart and creepy. REALLY CREEPY! Did I mention creepy?

This was a brilliant play on the word "patience." I enjoyed the way you wrote Legato, alone with his thoughts, as he waits for Vash to come out of hiding. Great, great job.

Good Legato-centric fics are quite rare to come by and this is definitely one of them. You've said before that the Legato-Vash angle fascinates you, and I can see that you're certainly capable of portraying the dangerous, destructive bond between these two characters very well.
