I couln't have figured out who this guy was if I hadn't known it was Cable. And despite I know NOTHING AT ALL about him, I really liked this story!

I don't know, maybe it is the well written of yours, the so natural atmosphere you get us caught into? A lot of things that made me lovi this.

I remember when they did the whole Cable?Storm or Cable?Domino thing (? intentional :)) and it never made sense to me. But you give it meaning. Not to say that Ororo wouldn't turn any man's head, but Nate's so . . . stodgy and grim. I couldn't see them together, but you made it seem as natural as it is unlikely. Sometimes extreme opposites do attract, and they certainly share fierce dedication to their work despite what it does to their personal relationships, and in that they may have the right things in common. Thank you for shedding light on this interlude.

My inner Forge is feeling kinda put out by this, admmittedly. Although he'd have to admit that it's entirely right - Forge and Storm? Never going to work.

Anyways, I like it. They do make quite a nice pairing, weirdly enough. With that whole opposites thing going. The choice of style and tense and stuff for this was interesting too. I think it works though.
