 Kuzosama 2009-09-15 . chapter 1Wow. Beautiful work. |
Starkreactor 2008-06-03 . chapter 1Hey, that was pretty good, I like the cabby and how you brought Parker in there, pretty clever! |
Ralindir 2008-05-06 . chapter 1Wow. I mean- wow. That was gorgeous. The characterisation, the dialogue- everything. It's beautiful.
*is in awe* |
Excel 2006-10-12 . chapter 1 This reminded me of marvels. A series i really liked. |
bibphile 2004-05-11 . chapter 1 Very nice. I know next to nothing about Tony Stark, but I really enjoyed this story. It just works really well. |
Moral Mark 2003-11-13 . chapter 1A very impressive one-shot fan fic that breathes life into all the characters you portray and breathes dimension into all the Marvel characters you use - which is a skill difficult to employ and one that is neglected by most fan fiction writers out there. While I do think the twist at the end of the story is a little out of character for the hero you put in question, it is so neglibible a fault because of to your excellent humanization of all your interviewees, and your equally good understanding of the Marvel Universe that shows in the narration. One can tell that you have read Marvel comic books, and more importantly understand the need to write the Marvel heroes as they are.
In essence, I enjoy this one shot because you build the story around the characters, not the other way around like other fan fiction writers do when they borrow their favorite characters (uck, if I have to read another Inuyasha/Spidey fan fic again . . . ). Bravo on your piece - it is a good example of what the essence of a fan fiction is truly about. |
artemis8 2003-09-30 . chapter 1 wow. Skyrocket, this is the kind of thing that i come to fanfiction.net looking for. Iron Man has always been my favorite marvel hero except Gambit, and the fact that you gave Tony Starks a face (albiet, a masked one) and soul while writing it is simply another nugget of liquid metal quality in the story. Throwing in significant places and people from other marvel series only made it that much better. sell this to marvel, get money for it, and bask int eh knowledge that this story kicked **. |
Neil Kapit 2001-12-11 . chapter 1 Gold. Pure Gold. A very good piece, with a very distinct voice and an in-depth examination of the character. Stuff like this is what makes fan fiction worth writing. |
bri 2001-12-09 . chapter 1 good job! nice story |
Nathaniel Knight 2001-10-10 . chapter 15\/\/337! I'm a big IronMan fan, and have every issue of the new series. I can't help but see how well you captured the personalities of Peter Parker and Alicia Masters (but how does she know Jean Grey is a red-head?), let alone Anthony himself. However, Peter has always, to my memories, been a freelancer with the Bugle, not actually an employee. Ah well, keep up the good work. |
James Birdsong 2001-09-15 . chapter 1 It's perfect *shocked look* Man you write well |
Michael Konnor 2001-05-07 . chapter 1good well-plotted story. I like how the characters each had their own thoughts, feelings and agendas. Authors sometimes lose the thread of the story and allow the charcaters emotions to tie in with their personal feelings. Good job.

 T. Cummins 2001-03-18 . chapter 1Great fic. I like the approach very much. By the way, thanks for moving your story to the Ironman category. I'd like to read some more. |
Mako-clb 2000-11-20 . chapter 1Dang, I love this story. I don't usually like Iron Man fics, but I really love this one. I've read it several times, and each time it is just as good as the last. |
Corina "Mako" Borsuk 2000-07-01 . chapter 1 This is the third time I've read this story, and it's just as good as the first time. I'm not even an Iron Man fan, but something about this always grabs me somehow. I suggest it to every Marvel fan, and even those who aren't. |
