Reviews For: Danger Mouse and Penfold meet Space Patrol
MorpheusDreamer 2006-04-19 . chapter 4
Definitely feel the tension building here... I suppose that for all of his usual unruffled nature, when something does change he's not terribly sure how to deal with it!

I did love the emotional use of "Penfold... shush"!

Ah... so the course of romance never does run smooth...

My goodness... it's official, DM has lost his famous cool and all hell has broken loose because of it!

Liked the backstory for DM and Penfold greatly, it does seem to be a father-son relationship sometimes, and those can eventually begin to strain...

Fun also to see Huskey and Slim's "odd couple" friendship, although I must admit there was an amusing typo:

The word is "intellectual"... "interlectual" means, roughly, "one who is between two books"... which could apply to Slim, but seems a little specific.

I have to wonder what Marla feels about all this! Hmm... feminism hasn't exacly kicked in in the 200th century has it?!

Oo-er... sorry for taking so long to review... *mumbles something about pressures of work*

Interesting to see the culture shock here, and I like the way in which Penfold is so enthusiastic, to contrast to DM's initial skepticism...

And those comments about headaches were very much in the DM dry humour vein!

Although I notice that a trip through time appears also to have had the effect of switching on his hormones, usually kept in very British reserve! The image of him attempting a romance is definitely an amusing one... so I hope he does!

Intriguing... intriguing... again, it's rather a shame that I know only one of the shows... but since it's Danger Mouse it's bound to be fun!

(Just a question, do the Martians or Venusians differ in appearence from humans in any way? Just to get a mental picture...)

(Oh... and how are you sizing DM? Considering he normally lives beneath a post box?)

Still... be interested to see where this goes!
