On a more light-hearted note I would like to draw attention to a certain description given early on. Dart referring to the 'hammer bros', I will not deny that the first thought that came to my mind was 'Where's the plumber?'. I know that sounds retarded but I can't help it at 3 AM. Diaz Rivaut 2008-06-06 ch 1,	abuseHm, I just finished The Hammer an hour ago and refrained from writing reviews for it being as it was complete but I will not hesitate to mention that the glowing recommendation I found concerning it was not at all unfounded. Anyways I would like to offer a couple of half-speculations that I've made concerning two characters you introduced. Firstly Xavier. An blind old man, scarred too I believe although I'm likely mistaken, with a limp no doubt due to a wound inflicted to his leg and we can't forget the most important feature: the golden eyes that anyone who has played FE 7 would recognize. Secondly is the brand new character Dreyakis. Only two things I would like to note, and the only ones mentioned I believe, one being the lack of an arm and the fact that he's been serving with Xavier for the past 20 years...since Xavier was first introduced. I think you might be able to figure out why I mention these little facts and am eagerly looking forward to finding out whether my speculations ring true so until next time... I bid you farewell! Your writing style is a pleasure to read, and your descriptions allow me to picture each scene with ease. I know that college is a pain, I'm with you there, but I hope you can spend some of your spare time continuing this story! Don't feel pressured, though, because this particular game does go into tangents that would make this story brutally stressful for you to finish (length-wise).

Phoenixfire1389 2007-01-30 ch 6,	abuseRaises eyebrow If Roy knows about the Campaign of Fire, does that also mean that he knows the truth about his mother, or was he given an edited version of events, more of a fairytale of the struggle than what actually happened? Honestly, I suspect not, but that would have made an amusing conversation. In the most likely event of 'not' will he ever find out about Ninian's heritage, or will she simply remain an enigmatic portrait hidden behind a black veil in the depths of Castle Pherae? In other news, great chapter. I think I'm getting used to the more epic feel of this piece, rather than Hammer of Terrascars, which I felt focused more on one place and one time. (Of course, this is probably a difference between the games, I never played FE6, and probably never will unless I manage to teach myself Japanese, something I despair of being able to do without help I am not likely to get) I take this to mean that you are not dead, dying, in the midst of a family/personal crisis or deprived of internet/computer access, and that updates will become semi-regular again? Not that I have any room to point fingers, but I didn't realize how much I missed this story until a halfhearted check revealed an update, at which point I read the chapter, then went back and reread the entire story before submitting this review. (Looks back at the review) Wow. It's two am, and I actually sound intelligent. This is probably a record. And as I type that, I am sure that it will never happen again...

A fan 2007-01-07 ch 6, anon.	abuseThis is wonderful! There are so many points of view to the story, and it isn't merely a rewrite of the plot of FE6. Instead, you've got a whole new (but event related) storyline with greater emphasis on every character's personality. I've simply never thought of FE6 like this before.
