The multi-viewpoint scene where Ranma finds Akane and Ryouga is superb. Good portrayals of emotions, whch is this fics strong point.

How the heck would Kiima get a copy of Ranma's form? Note: It is NOT accessible from the Spring of Drowned Girl. Herb was dunked in the same spring, and his female form looks nothing like Ranma's does. The only way to produce a new spring of drowned Ranma is to dunk Ranma in a new spring (at least briefly). After the damage to Jusenkyou at the completion of the manga, though, combined with Ranma's presence far from Jusenkyou, this seems rather... implausible. I suggest you come up with something more plausible.

I'm not going to bother with further comment on Akane and Ryouga except to say that their being involved in a sexual relationship rather stretches suspension of disbelief. I rather hope it doesn't come up again, since you now have your excuse for Ranma to leave Akane.

Ugh, I sorry to say this, but I just don't find Ryoga and Akane a possible pairing, but I'll go along with it just because I find this story interesting. I also hope you didn't take the Ranma using the force joke seriously. Keep it up, It's awesome and written very well.

I'm liking your story, but after reading your statements at the beginning of the chapter i'm a little concerned about some things.

What worries me is the fact that you would have been willing to change the whole plot just because someone pointed out why Ryouga and Akane might not get together. That to me doesn't make sense. I don't know what was said in that review but I am sure that all the points made were valid. Still, there are reasons for why any character shouldn't get with another character, just as there are reasons they could potentially have a relationship.

Of course there are reasons as to why Ryouga and Akane wouldn't work, but there are also numerous reasons why they would. Your job as the author is to layout these reasons and the circumstance where the characters would act according to these reasons and get together. You did this well enough with Ryouga and Akane. You managed to create a situation where Akane felt pressured and hopeless and reacted in a way that was feasable, which was going to Ryouga for support and comfort. You made this even stronger by tying it into the treatment of her by her family and connecting it to her childhood. In my eyes you did your job as the author by creating a situation where the characters action were plausable. I see no error in that.

Some people will read this and accept the logic in why they got together and move on. Some people won't except it no matter how logical it is because they just don't like the pairing. As long as you com up with an expaination as to why it could believably happen, then there's nothing else to do, as fic explored what would occur if it did.

That being said, I'm glad to see what looks like a good RanmaKiima fic. I guess people are intimidated by the idea of it, thinking that it's too far-fetched, but it's really not IMO. I mean, atleast they know each other and have *some* sort of relationship, even if it's just as one-time enemies. When you think about it crossover pairings usually have characters who have no history at all, and there are still some pretty good fics about that. That being said, there's a surprisingly few amount of RanmaKiima fics, and I only vaguely remember one that was really good. I'm glad to see that someone who thinks like me in terms of the characters actually building a relationship is writing one.

Excellent story so far, I really like the way Saffron's Ki is transforming Ranma, but while your explanation of Akane makes sense, she got off too easy, she's not the victim she wants to think she is, she chose to be silent on all this and decided that cheating was the best option, and she is not the only one that got affected with this, there was also Ranma, but oh no, nobody stopped to think about that eh?. well, sorry about that flame, I really like your fic but I think that scene is too unfair to Ranma

Hey, don' worry 'bout it. I think you're writing a great story here, so you shouldn't have to re-think anything. The whole Akane/Ryoga thing isn't that surprising actually, there's a lot of AK/RY fics out there, so no one should really complain. Anyway, YOu've got a good story, and it can only get better. I'm lookin' forward to the rest of it.

Very odd happenings. Maybe Ranma transforms partly to something like Saffron and would be realted because of that
to him. I mean the new king must fear ranma and crew if he want them killed.

so what are you planning for ranma now that his aura is mutating from the extreme power of saffron's aura?

That was a good explanation on you views of Akane. You explanation for her actions in the story was credible. However, you didn't address Akane's reaction to the problems that came with Ranma. She was not just a victim. She sounded too much like a victim saint.
