Best fan fiction centered around an OC that I've ever read. Normally I try to stay away from OC stories but I decided to give this one a chance since it had so many reviews and it had Chichiri in it (who is my favorite character by the way) and I was pleasantly surprised. I came to like it so much I reread the whole thing several times for about a week. Think you'd ever do a joint manga project with a complete stranger? Contact me! You could do the writing while I do the drawing. I'm pretty good at drawing manga.

So all I have to say is...amazing. The entire thing. I don't read a lot of fanfics concering animes, mostly because I don't watch or read a lot of them. However, my sister enjoys them and so we've watched the entire Fushigi Yugi series over the past couple of weeks and now we're watching the OVA's. I love the series, and as I always do with movies or books or shows that I enjoy, I crept to my computer and decided to see what people had written about it. And I wasn't finding a whole lot that I enjoyed. But when I stumbled on your story, I felt that I could stop looking. Your writing style is amazing, and it flows so entirely well. You've managed to come up with an entirely creative idea that hasn't been overly done and hacked like so many writers are guilty of doing. I almost didn't appreciate the drastic time change when I first started the story. I thought, guns? trucks? really? But it challenged me, and now I absolutely love it. You've written beautiful characters with poignant backgrounds and a priestess who is a hero for that time. I love how you've translated the characters and fashioned them into your own. I love the direction that the story has taken, and I love the plot twists and cliff hangers. You have written a fantastic story, and like I said, I don't read a whole lot based on mangas or animes. But your story has proven to be quite the exception. I got to the end of the last chapter and seriously considered starting over at chapter 1 b/c I was craving more and there wasn't any more. And I don't know if I'm going to find another story in this section of this caliber. So i'll just submit a plea like countless others have before me. Please update!! It's oh so good! Everyone is waiting on the edge of their seat wondering what will come of poor Ren and anticipating Riki's re-entrance into the plot. And do Nuriko and the frightened Hotohori ever make it out of that hotel room? We're all dying to know! :) Congrats on writing a top notch story. I am sincerely impressed.

Poor Joumi has to suffer through another chapter before she gets fixed-ed. Poor thing... See, if you hadn't felt the need to be a little angst monkey, a blood-shot-eyed Mikako-chan could've gone over to Mits's apartment thingy wif her spiffy entourage (yes, i said 'spiffy!'), convinced him to come along either through her own awesome miko-persuasion skills, peer pressure, or using Persuasion-chan, which ever works best, and winged it straight back to the palace to do some fixings. But nu...-.- -sigh- Well, I certainly hope she gets healed soon!

Hehe, yes, seishi are certainly smooth and graceful. And hot. I swear there are times when I wish I was the priestess of Suzaku...I could hang around with a bunch of attractive bishies!! And I would be speaking Japanese without even knowing how I'm doing it. How freaking cool would that be?

Man...please don't let it be too long before the next update. I'm already dying and praying Ren-chan's okay... -worry worry worry- And everyone else too, naturally. Don't keep us waiting too long, hear?

Amazing! You're right, battles are indeed exciting! And there are so many unanswered questions... Kiku for instance... And I'm also wondering:

1) Where's Riki? I miss Tamahome!

2) Can I seriously hope there'll be romance in chapter 24? It'd better involve Mika! Because if it's Nuriko-Hotohori or something... Well, still good, but the heroine has to get a boy! I mean look at Miaka... It was like the 5h chapter when she hooked up with Tama-babe!

3) How can this story be so amazing? (I guess there's no answer for that... ^.~)

Thank you for the story. I would like more action,drama, and of course romance. I dont wanna be selfish. but the 50-60 chapters dont sound half bad. but its up 2 u?

I will admit that I was a bit hesitant to read past the first couple of paragraphs, even though you promised that there were no Mary Sues/SI in sight.

But after reading the first chapter, I'm hooked. I can already tell that the writing is good, and I can't wait to read on. Your characters are fun, each with their own quirks.

I. LOVE. MITSUKAKE! Wow, that's like, the first time I've ever found myself saying that. I mean, I thought he was a cool guy before, if not a little sad and withdrawn, but this new version you've uncovered... -Dies- As you know I'm a big fan of sarcasm/cynicism and the like, I thoroughly enjoyed this rearranging of the dear doctor's personality. And it made me smile to see that he still likes kitty-cats. ^^

Although, I do wonder what it was he was lying about. Surely there was a small amount of truth in what he said? Either that or he just said everything he told Mika was a lie to confuse her. Meh.

Hotohori seems like he's growing a little. I mean, he has a long way to go, I'm sure, but he's being responsible and determined to try and help his sis. Even though he'd be kind of useless if they got in a sticky situation. I dunno. I just really liked that scene while Nuri was getting the car and suchness.

Ren is just so freaking cute!! Dangit, you're good at making me gush! I don't do it often but when the fangirlish 'kyah!' comes out of me it's because whatever it is is one-hundred percent adorable. Congratulations.

I really hope Mits goes with them. I don't want Joumi to die, she's one of the most endearing OCs of yours I've come to love in such a short time!

Hey! How's it going? Well, I told you I would review sometime soon. ...Or something like that. I don't remember. My brain's been hurting a lot as of late. Bleh. Friggin' school...

Anyway!

The situation's worse than I thought! Crap! But I figured this was gonna be a prelude/reason for bringing in Mits. So, hopefully they can find him and he can fix up Joumi good as new. I felt really bad for Hotohori, since it was an assassination attempt meant for him but the spores got to his sis instead, cuz of him going on that trip with Mika and them. I'd feel pretty awful (that's an understatement) if I was responsible for someone close to me getting hurt, even if it was indirectly.

On a happier note, I must say that Tasuki's ever-oblivious-ness makes me lol. And I freaking love his weapon! Omg, that was a freaking awesome idea! Special bullets that explode on impact. Sweetness... I'll miss hearing the tessan incantation and the pretty fire but this is still good.

Hehe, I nearly embarrassed myself when I read about them going through security and the lil' incident with his weapon nearly getting 'consecrated.' XD Man, oh man... Someone, grab that boy a dictionary.

I'm gonna miss Ken. -sad face- I hope we hear from him at least once or twice before the end. I do love my bandits/terrorists, lol. (Please, American Government, don't take that last sentence out of context!)

Bravo! -claps- Now, just how do they go about finding Mits? I'll be anxious to see. Unfortunately, my curiosity will have to wait until later, because I'm starving and need to grab something before my next class in about an hour or so.

It's totally believable that Mits might turn out this way, it's actually kind of similar to how he was at first in the real story. Did you mean to do that? Darn now my head is gonna keep coming up with possible connections that are highly unlikely.

Wow, the new Mitsukake is surprisingly similar to the old one, and yet different, too--it may be a bit early in the story to tell, but so far, I really like him. (^_^) I also loved the nickname "persuasion-chan" for Tasuki's enkou gun (XD) Mika's reaction to tasting a cigarette was cute (and realistic--I don't understand how people can enjoy cigarettes either (=/)) too. Aw hell, let me summarize and say that I enjoyed the entire chapter! (XD) And I think I'd prefer the "much broader, much more epic second plot"--I'm always looking for long fanfics to read, especially ones by writers as good as yourself. (^^) Well, I guess that's all I have to say for now (I'm surprised I was even able to get this much out; I'm so tired that my eyes are crossing, but I didn't want to forget to leave you a review, so please excuse me if there are any errors or if anything(/everything) I wrote doesn't make sense (^^")) Looking forward to the next chapter, as always! (^_^)

Are you kidding? Of course the second, longer, epic way! (there's actually romance? I almost forgot...) It IS probably gonna take a while, but hey, it's worth the wait!

Now, Mitsukake is...Well...A responsible adult! And the team really needs one right now, since Hotohori is a 5-year-old in the body of a 20-year-old, Joumi is too good to set limits and Nuriko acts like a Hitler with xx chromosome... Mikako matures in every chapter, but it appears Riki is getting less screen time... Bring him back! A wanna see him and Tasuki fight over a hamburger while Mikako is trying to save the day... Or something better than that!

Awaiting for the next! I really hope you'll go with the second way of writing BW! Take care!~
