A great story. You captured Gil's emotions after what happened very well. That was my favorite episode. I liked the part where Warrick was on the ladder outside the baby's room and startled Gil and he said "sorry, is your ticker allright? and when he was going to use the ladder to get in, Gil told him to go around.

That was so sad. Something like that would definitely work as an explanation for the way Grissom acts during certain cases and why he is so withdrawn sometimes. Good story.

The story has potential, but you need to review your work and revise all the run on sentences. There are some that are so long and contain so many different thoughts that they could make a paragraph. Try to find a beta well versed in grammar and vocabulary.

Oh, please continue. I like this opening. While I'm not a huge fan of the typical "Grissom lost a baby" story, I'm enjoying this one.
