These are absolutely lovely. I'm French and Notre-Dame de Paris is one of my favorite novels, but Lear is also one of my favorite English poets, and you pull off their encounter beautifully. Well done, really.

Great! I love how La Esmeralda had bare feet but a shoe around her neck. Great! The limerick 'La Esmeralda' was so funny. How she had all different types of men in love with her. And it took me a minute to figure how the Pope crawled in her grave. The Pope of Fools! I got it! Ingenius.
