ibreak4CSI 12/31/05 . chapter 1Yay, you did a CSI fic! (Okay, so it was over a month ago, but still. Blast that stupid author alert! I could have sworn you were on there! Well, you definitely now. Anyway, on to the review.)
Wow, this was amazingly written. The detail you went into, and the portrayal of thoughts and emotions was lovely.
I could tell it was Grissom even before you mentioned the hearing; you did a very good job of having him stay in character.
So great job! Hopefully, we will see more CSI from you soon! |
Lizzy Sidle 11/27/05 . chapter 1Meh! _ (Yes, randomness) Review!
CSI!etc.
You did one!
And it was very well done too. :) Not too much criticism on this one. You didn't overdo the detail. Good job on that. Umm...well it was s CSI ONE! Of course it's splendid.
MORE! I need ANOTHER CSI fic! Please-eth! |
lemonjelly 11/23/05 . chapter 1Loved the use of brackets and loved the ending - so poetic. Great, original, bittersweet and insightful idea. You capture exactly how tough that job must be though we don't often see how they manage to cope. You get the sense of them going through this sort of torture on a regular basis but, at the end of the day, standing up, taking in a lungful and going to bed only to wake up and do it again, stronger than the day before. It's a kind of continuous process that you show in this short one-shot glimpse.
Even before you mentioned the hearing, by the way, I could tell it was Grissom and no-one else. He has a unique character that you, with your curious talent for accurate characterisation, set down in stone right from the very start.
Well done - more CSI fiction - MORE! |
