Romance/angst has so got to be my favourite genre (the perfect combination of the fluffy, narrative-style stuff, with some of the more serious, thought-provoking material. Yay). Seriously. Especially when you write it. :)

So, yeah. Loved this. You have such a unique style of writing - everything seems so much longer than it actually is, because of what you say and how you phrase it, and you work the dialogue up against the little side-notes perfectly, so you kinda feel like you're right there, watching it. It's lovely.

I really like how you left it there at the end, as well. Awesome stuff.

Oh, and I don't do the email notification thing. Nothing personal; I don't do it for anyone. I don't really know why. I check my favourite authors' pages pretty regularly for something new, and I use the handy-dandy "review history" thing to check for chapter updates, and then the rest of what I read, I find by luck when I'm at the main CSI fanfic page, so I don't really need the email update-notification function, I guess.

Argh. I still have that killer urge to write something. I feel in such a writing mood. Probably because I have so much other stuff I should be doing instead.

In fact, I think I'll kill some more time by checking out your LJ page right now. :)
