This whole fic had me guessing, because I hadn't read Ayatsuri Sakon, but it just added to the interesting atmosphere. Poor Conan. He really had so many reasons to be paranoid even *before* that happened. But this was quite a good story--and it introduced me to Ayatsuri Sakon! Double win!

I think you have just given me a new favorite manga. ^_^ I'm glad someone around here has the will to resist box-ghost puns. I don't think I could've; Danny Phantom is too amazing.

Ayatsuri Sakon + Detective Conan = world of awesome. We didn't know that there were people who actually liked Ayatsuri Sakon, let alone wrote fanfics. :)

The only way it would be more awesome is if Sakon and Conan were to team up on a case... hn. Maybe we should get to work on that one.

Absolutely fantastic! I read this once before, loved it but didn't know the Ayatsuri Sakon series, so, just went on. I've just now started watching the series and LOVE it. Bit creeped out as well, but, hey, that fits with the show. Anyway, I knew I had to find this again and went searching. Wasn't that hard because I found it on a recommended list right away. Excellent fic. Thanks!

I've never heard of Ayatsuri, but it sounds like a good series. I just loved Conan's expressions, poor kid. Paranoia is like second nature to him... for good reason too.

I was so happy to stumble across this fic! I'm a huge Ayatsuri Sakon fan and we just started showing it at our anime club so I was looking for good stories to recommend to people. This is totally at the top of the list! And it's a crossover with Conan? Gah, so much awesome in one story! Thank-you for writing this, it has completely made my day!

Good story. I forgot to review when I first read this though. Anyways, before I didn't know what Puppetmaster Sakon aka Ayatsuri Sakon was but now I do. This story was funny. Are you going to make a sequel with when Sakon and Ukon are performing at Conan's school? Or maybe even get them to solve a mystery together? So please continue.

Hi! I love this fic. I found it via one of the few Ayatsuri Sakon sites out there. Then I found it on I don't know much about Dective Conan, but I could follow very well without knowing. I wish there were more fics about Sakon and Ukon out there, but there are not. And some that were on are now gone. I wanted to read them. Ohh well.

Anyways, you should really continue this. Expessually with the fact that you hint that maybe they will run into each other when they do a preformance. Plus, they're both of the mystery genra, so a Mystery if worked in would be great too.

Plus, I would find it completly humoruos, expessually to see some of the other Conan characters reaction to either Ukon and Sakon, or their responce to Conan seeing them again.

You wrote him so well and I love how easy going he was, not even caring/realizing how freaked out Conan was. Thanks for sharing!

A Sakon crossover fic! I've been praying to each and every diety out there to be able to find something like this, and the reward was certainly worth the wait!

Oddly enough, I don't know much about Meitantei Conan - just watched half of the first season and the little bit I know about the rest I owe to my Meitantei Conan fan friends - but your characterizations are the best I've read in a while, and that goes for both series. I love the way you portray Ukon; serious, yet playful and even a little mischievous. Sakon was also dead on with his mild freaking out, and Conan, of course, was the perfect mix of mature, suspecting and weirded-out-by-a-talking-puppet.

Quality fanfiction is always a source of joy. The world needs more Sakon fanfiction, also, so please keep up the good work. Thank you so much for sharing this piece with us.

x3 I really enjoyed reading this fic. Interesting and humourous. I loved Conan's thoughts, which kind of reminded me of how I talk to myself. ("Shut UP, brain.") I don't know Sakon, but there wasn't any trouble getting through this fic. :D I'm adding this to my favorites.
