this is so well written. The words the flow. the characterisations. Especially of Goku-the boy then , and Goku-now, who can pull them all back from the brink of defeatism into optimism! I loved this.

When I got the notification that this story was up, I was surprised because you had said you were stuck on it. However, it is very obvious that you became unstuck, and the results are impressive.

The length of this piece surprised me. I guess I just somehow imagined that it'd be longer, but the length it's at is *perfect.* It's more of a "stolen moment" than a story, but it is still solid. I also loved how you continued that scene from the Kami-sama arc where Sanzo is shooting the cans. That's one of my favorites.

I think my favorite thing, though, was Goku's shock after he had been shot. The dawning of his comprehension was both beautiful and tragic, and I believe done in a very realistic way.

I do have a few critisisms, but they are more just me nitpicking, and if you'd like I can point them out to you later. It deals with the structure but not the story itself. (And really, they're small things.) But besides that your story is solid. Wonderfully done.

I loved it. It was so eay to imagine. The words fit in perfectly. I've enjoyed all your storeies. For the fact that you support the 'Better' pairings and have a good feel for writing and the characters. Can't wait to read more.

As good as any of your other stories (which is way too f-ing good, please allow this unworthy soul to read them!), and it seems this story is dependant on the ability for the readers to picture it and feel it rather than read it. You really have a gift for moving people with your stories don't you? Have you written any novels I can buy yet?
