cute ending. i got into thinking though. when does this take place? neither the wars nor endless waltz make sense. for the wars everything is too weird, too peaceful, and noins presence speaks for preventer business. but then again they are all five there. and endless waltz...well, that was a kinda limited time frame, or? and the OZ is already history in this fic. but heero still has wing and went back to piloting. sounds like he has regular missions, too. hm, ah well. doesn't matter. it's just not really clear.

Oh my God! That story was so cool and sad and sweet and absolutly adorable! I love hoe it was written and how Due and Heero got together and that cute flashback when they had all first gone to that carnival and Heero got whacked in the head with the baseball and stuff. I just love the while thing! And that was so sweet how they all care so much for Heero and stayed with him and everything. Simply amazing story! One of the absolute best I've ever read with so much emotion!

eh, i actually can disprove the duo and religion bit. it's a fact in the show that he only wears the priest outfit and cross to remember and honor father maxwell who helped him and took him in as a child. duo states quite frankly that the only god he believes in is shinigami, and he considers himself thus. he's not religious; he says many things in the show, such as "i've never seen any miracles, but i've sure seen a lot of dead people" (something like that). it makes sense that he would KNOW about some religion cuz of his childhood, but he's not christian in the least. (that is where the reference is from, i assume) i think it's good he's not, but i'll admit that duo having some sort of death ritual fits his character. god of death and all that. but i wouldn't say any of the pilots are religious. they're too practical, have seen too much, and are far too independent to need a deity or the social structure/acceptance a religion provides. quatre is arabic, and you could say he's muslim, simply because he says "oh, allah" but that's pretty much the equivalent of saying "oh god". everyone says it, atheist, agnostic, or any religion. doesn't mean anything. shrugs

i loved the whole carnival bit though. would think one of the pilots would have switched with duo at one point just so he could go on atleast one ride, but whatever. the sunset scene was great.

ack! how could duo be so stupid as to leave? no matter what heero says, just on principle someone needs to be there with him! he's in pain, cold and helpless and could go into shock or DIE any second! and duo KNOWS he's suicidal; heero doesn't need a gun to kill himself. moron!
