I liked the story and the fact that the two were having a civil conversation which makes a welcome change to the angst found in most fanfiction. I would like to point out, however, that "detante" is actually spelt "detente" (it should also have an acute accent over the first "e" but I have no idea how one types that on an English language keyboard)
