| procrastin8or951 2008-01-17 ch 1, | abuseI love how complex the plot of this whole story is. (Sorry, I know I'm supposed to just be writing about chapter 1, but I've read this story over and over again, so I'm going to respond to the whole thing). The look at Warrick's past is really great, and you developed the character of Kenny very well. |
| Bluebird-named-lulabell 2008-01-14 ch 22, | abuseThis story is very well put together! the transitions between scenes and actions are flawless, the grammer and spelling are correct, and the quality of this story is like any great book, the sentences worded just so, allowing the reader to picture whats happening as if it was a movie, aided by the in-depth details, and of course, your AWESOME writing abilities! While reading this, i had the sense of, just kinda falling into the story, and becoming a bystander, something that happens to people who know what a really good story is! If the producers of the show CSI were to read this, i think it would become the first CSI movie, and of course, the best one...! |
| MontanaWildhack 2007-12-28 ch 22, | abuseI realize this is completely after the fact, but I just wanted to let you know that I've read virtually all of your CSI fics over the past few weeks, and I just wanted to let you know that you did an amazing job on all of them! This story is my absolute favorite because I adore the Nick/Warrick friendship, but I enjoyed all your other stories as well! You obviously put a lot of work into giving your stories depth and accuracy, and it's definitely appreciated! You have definitely mastered the art of suspense and cliffhangers between chapters. Also, I generally hate OCs, but I absolutely adored Kenny!! By the end of this fic, I was terrified that you were going to kill him just when I started to actually like him! (I was also equally afraid his death would be accompanied by a South Park-esque "OMG- they killed Kenny" type remark... hehehe) Generally speaking, I also enjoyed the fics that addressed the complexity of the Nick/Grissom relationship and how completely different their personalities are. I also love the way you write Brass, but that could be because he's one of my favorite characters. Each character that was included in these stories had a distinct voice that reflected how they are portrayed in the show, which is pretty remarkable, since each character is so unique. I'm also very impressed that you're able to blend character development with lots of action and suspense- most stories have one or the other, but these have both! Anyways, just wanted to let you know that even if your inspiration has moved to other things besides CSI, I truly enjoyed reading all your works- amazing job!! Thanks for all the hard work!! |
| sushigal007 2007-12-24 ch 22, | abuseWow! This was fab! Forget Quentin Tarentino being a guest writer, they ought to buy the rights to this fic and make CSI:The Movie. I especially loved Chu... in fact, I'm almost sad you killed her. Going to add this to my faves, I think. Bril. |

| rojaji 2006-04-25 ch 21, | abuseits late at night, I felt like reading this story again. its funny, I know what happens, I know how it ends. but the second time around I catch things that I missed when I was so anxious to find out what happened next. This passage damn near brought me to tears just now: 'Alone with Nick for the moment Grissom rose creakily from his chair. Cocking his head to one side he leaned closer, just enough to keep from raising his voice. "I could give you several definitions of resiliency as encouragement, Nicky. Then again, why waste my breath with someone who is the very embodiment of the word." He smiled. "Put me in my place, Nick. Few give it the same type of effort you do when I need it.' how the hell do you guys do it? You're both extremely talented writers, and we're very lucky that you share your stories with us. keep writing. really, I mean it! Now go on, get back to work... ;D |
| Veze 2006-03-29 ch 1, | abuseWonderfull story. I was stick on it from the first to the last page, reading all in a one shot. I'm not very good in english and I can't find the good words to tell how much I love this story. In my opinion... this story is really better than Grave danger. more stress, more angst, more action, more friendship more... everything. Thank for the great time I have with it. |
| chituhr 2006-03-24 ch 22, | abuseWOW! GREAT story! Thank you to all who helped write this. This is FANTASTIC! I could not put the story down.. I was hooked and now it is 2 am! Thank you and keep up the phenomenal writing! Looking forward to more fantastic NICK stories!. |
| Faith Hope and Love 2006-02-22 ch 22, anon. | abuseGreat story and well written. YOu guys really work well together. The story was well put together and I enjoyed it mostly being a Warrick story with a good dose of Nick and Tina put in. It was just wonderful. |
| AmyMayThomas777 2006-02-07 ch 22, | abuseThat last scean in the taylor's shop, priceless. I liked it. The "voice" is till out there. (scar music insered here) oh. I like when stories end with a "tag" Keep it up both of you. |
| lemon_grass 2006-02-06 ch 22, anon. | abuseAww, it's really over... Sadness. :( I had to go out and get "Binding Ties" today to hopefully tide me over until your next respective projects are posted, which I hope will be soon, because I'm already 1/3 through the book. You don't want to make me spend all my hard-earned money on the rest of them too, do ya? :p *wink, nudge* What more can I say about the story? It's absolutely amazing. The last chapter made me lol at several points. No wonder Warrick is never embarrassed. :D Loved the Warrick/Nick interaction, especially Warrick's disbelief when Nick brought up auto detail as his big secret. Kenny meeting Archie was a nice touch, as was The Voice reading "The Art of War" on the plane. I too wish there had been a little more Nick/Grissom, but seeing as Kristen's got a lot more of that up her sleeve, I'll let it slide. :p Again, thank you ladies for this fantastic ride! *hugs* |
| thebondgirl 2006-02-06 ch 22, | abuseholy sh*t!! that was absolutely CRAZY! i'm glad that i wasn't put off by the size of the story before i started reading! i would've realy missed out! amazing job, amazing story!! keep up the terrific work!!:):):) (though you obviously don't need any urging in that department!) |
