Interdepartmental romances are frowned on not only in Montana, but in most professional workplaces. Law enforcement is one of those professions where having a romantic partner openly in the same unit could be disastrous. There are very good reasons for not allowing romantic partners to work together; there are even more reasons when the partners are both police officers.

Even assuming Mac would be accepting (and is he *really* one you can see doing that? I can't), it's not something about which to be as casual as Danny and Lindsey are.

Also: proofread. You have a few sentences which need repair.
