You've done a wonderful job with this story. The characters and their issues have been fantastically played out; I like how you try to get to the root of the issues-especially why Reno is the way he is. Excellent.

Dang. This was freakin' good. I haven't actually played or even watched the movie beyond 10 minutes, but your story kept me hooked to the very end.
Sad that it's already over and it's been two years since you updated.
Now, possibly my limited knowledge of Final Fantasy has me believing your characters wholly, but I'm sure it's actually your writing skills. Believable and deep to the point I could see them pop out of the screen in into real life(Disregarding the whole fantasy world thing, you understand). Forget Midgar contained many characters, but all taken care of so well that this plot felt like the only possible plot and outcome of the entire Final Fantasy Series.
Read every single line you wrote in this story, because they were so well written. Can't emphasize enough how much I enjoyed and anticipated getting some free time to read each chapter.
Never even thought of asking before, but if you have time, I have a small request. If there are any other stories of yours on another site, or you have unposted chapters on your computer, or any of your other work, can you please send any sort of word my way? Besides a few good books that hook me during my morning coffee, it's rare to find such a good author.

You know, I almost regret reading this a little. Not because it isn't good, but because I really want to see how this plays out, but it appears to have been abandoned. It's been nearly two years since an update :(

Oh noes, I'm at the end! This is not good, not good at all. I don't like being at the end! I do enjoy this story, although it's slightly depressing. I like happy people. I don't like the mean side of Cloud and I don't like the nice side of Rufus. Rufus always seems like such an ** and then he shows the 'nice' Rufus and it makes me feel bad for him, but I don't trust him. He's an amazing actor.

This is all so terribly sad. I just want Cloud and Reno to be happy '_' Is it too much to ask? Of course it is! *shrugs* I'm going onto the next chapter >_> maybe there will be more happiness.

*Gurggles* Gah. I don't even know what to think. I just got to accepting Rufus' death and convincing myself FINALLY that you weren't going to make him pop up and ruin it! Not the story, Cloud and Reno's relationship. Guh. I've been psycho-**-analyzing Rufus and Reno and trying to figure it all out, thinking that Reno's love for the original Rufus had simply transfered to the new Rufus and he didn't really love him like that and now you've gone and thrown Reno into new Rufus' arms!! HIS ARMS I TELL YOU! I don't even know what to think. I desperately want to read more but it's 3:30 A-**-M and I have school in the morning. But ohmigod. Poor little Cloud. I just want to snuggle him and make it all better. And maybe kick Reno in the ** shins. Uagh. '_'

O.O! Oh. My. God. This is fantastic! I love the plot! The dialogue! The events! The length! Everything! But oh MAN did you leave it at such a bad cliff hanger. PLEASE tell me you are updating this a.s.a.p. I've been reading this nonstop and now I absolutely have to follow this through to the end. This is amazing I love it! The reaction between Rufus and Cloud over Reno is going to be so amazing! I can guess for eternity how it'll play out and I bet it will be wrong. I love what you've done with this story. Please do me the very great honor of updating, or at least tell me if the story is on permanent hiatus. Thank you so much for sharing your work! ^_^

It's been quite a while since you've updated this, but I can always hope that you'll write more again soon.

I suppose I'll start this review off by telling you that I'm not one for reading Reno x Cloud fics, simply because the pairing never caught my interest. In fact, it still doesn't, but I will say that [because of your story] I like both Rufus x Reno and Reno x Cloud. Quite an accomplishment, that. Getting someone to like a pairing because of /your/ fanfiction is something to boast about.

The long chapters are also nice. They allow for one to simply zone out to the rest of the world for a good twenty to thirty minutes or so.

Well, as for this chapter, I have to admit that I feel a little bad for Rufus. He's trying to cover up whatever he's feeling about Reno screwing around with Cloud, but we all know he's not a happy Shinra. Heh... when he first appeared, I gasped. I assumed that you wouldn't really kill Rufus, but seeing him show up literally out of /nowhere/ was something else. You must have had a lot of fun writing that.

It's also interesting how you've taken certain details from Advent Children and added them into your story, making them completely your own. The bit with Rufus wearing the blanket is a good example of this.

The review is getting rather long, so I suppose I'll wrap it up.

I love how your version of a short chapter is like, huge o.O You haven't updated this in a long long long time. are you still going to? I read this a while ago, up to chapter 8, then I lost it o.O and never finished it. So I just found and reread the whole thing. In 2 days. Pretty impressive. Anyway, u should update. do it. now xD
