Great sentence, except this part..."The couldn't-care-less mask.."

Break it down and it says this "The could not-care-less mask" which ultimately means that his mask is one of great concern. Which I know, is not what you were going for. so the sentence should read as follows.

"She could see emotions behind the could-care-less mask he had tried so hard to keep up."

Because when you say "I could care less..." it means that you have no concern for that matter.

See?

It's a easy mistake that humans make every single day. And although people understand the meaning perfectly. It is wrong by definition.

This is most definitely not a flame, just a bit of con crit.

Other than that, it's a lovely story. I enjoyed it deeply, and will be adding it to my favorites.

Just what I needed. ^-^ I love this one! :D Maybe a little over done but I love it anyway. There can never been enough fics where Hermione slaps Draco. Uh... but we can't go overboard on Draco abuse now can we?

Wow.. that's really good. I'm amazed that something that so resembles a play ended up good. Usually when authors mean play, they mean a real Romeo-and-Juliet, Phantom of the Opera type. But this is a real great fic. :D
