endsoftime 2009-05-15 . chapter 1Hey! I thought it was quite funny! I've only read the first chapter, but you definitely got the dialogue of the swallows/coconut argument down. But just to let you know, that line "Pull the other one" is a British term, derived from the idea of "pulling someone's leg." When Arthur told the guard he was a King, the guard didn't believe him, thinking Arthur was "pulling his leg," so he says, "Pull the other one," (as in "pull the other leg") which is his way of saying, "Try again, idiot, I don't believe you!"
Yeah. I'm a loser XP. But good start, seriously! |
trigirl48 2007-06-22 . chapter 2XD I only saw one episode of slayers but I liked a lot, and I own Holy Grail and it always makes me laugh, especially the opening credits (a moose bit my sister once. No really, she was carving her name on it with a sharpened toothbush...). I think the cats get beat against the wall for the same reasons a rug would, to get the dirt out. But that's just my idea. |
WildfireDreams 2006-09-14 . chapter 2Funny, please write more soon! |

Nicci Rockdad 2005-12-21 . chapter 2Hmm, I think this might be going somewhere. I wonder where are favorite couple is gonna pop up. Kyle says perhaps Filia will be Zoot, naughty naughty Zoot, but I think that'd be more down Xelloss or Martina's alley. Hee, ever wonder what they were up too alone traveling after Lina by themseleves. Hee. Hmm... but who will say... NI! |
The Amazing Aliano 2005-12-20 . chapter 2I love it! The Monty Pythons rule! And you're very good at telling it right, twisted just the right way for Slayers.
Can't wait for the next chapter! |
 Nehszriah 2005-12-16 . chapter 2Konnichi-wa!
I love this fiction, and Monty Python. I quote it regularly along with my English teacher. This is great, considering I am obsessed with Slayers. Good thing you did it before I did.
Advice: Try to not just copy the script of "Holy Grail" word for word. It is cool if you copy some, but the reader enjoys it more if there is more original dialogue than simply the same movie with different actors.
I would have reviewed for the first chapter, but my review did not go through. T.T Good luck! |

1098 2005-12-08 . chapter 1Stiel: (Folds hands and chuckles a'la Gendo Ikari) I knew it was bound to happen sooner or later.
Dragonboy: WAI! Monty Python and Slayers!! Very cool, who's Xelloss-sama gonna be? (Not someone who dies right? *Puppydog eyes*)
Stiel: Lina and Co. should add a nice twist, I should think. Looking forward to more.
Dragonboy: Ditto! ^_^v

Charatka 2005-12-07 . chapter 1 Well, I hope that you will update it soon. MP is one of my favourite movies and judging from you other works there will be lots of humor and romance... And knowing that you are a Fi&Xell fan like me I'm expecting some romance... Anyway, you brightened my day with that fic... Sorry for mistakes, english is not my first language and it's very late so I can't bring myself to write clearier... Anyway, I like it. |
encyser 2005-12-07 . chapter 1As much as I adored the coconut conversation, the part where Zel was clopping it for Lina's benefit fell kind of flat. Understandable, really: visual gags don't always translate very well in text mode. |
