nendo-chan 2009-11-02 . chapter 1I dig through a lot of fic, and I have to say, this is the best Chad-centric piece I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Its 'place' in Bleach's timeline is irrelevant- it just captures the essence of Chad's character the way I've seen a lot of other stories fail to. |
sunlightkisses 2009-10-29 . chapter 1stunning. just stunning. the narration is love. fantastic job. |
 sakR9 2009-09-27 . chapter 1 Pure amazing-ness.
Classic.
100% love.
Wow. I'm almost speechless. Thanks for adding Orihime in because I love her and Chad :) This was so so great! |
calliopechild 2008-11-28 . chapter 1Very nice. I'm a big Chad fan (for all that he never speaks and there's so much we never hear about him), so I really enjoyed this. Very well-written, and quiet, so it read and felt like Chad, if that makes any sense. Nicely done. :D |
Timetill 2008-10-26 . chapter 1I've always thought that Chad was an underappreciated character in Bleach, but...wow.
This was amazing! I loved the concepts you touched on, stories, how they transform people, what they mean regardless of their truth, and Chad at the center of it all. I loved how your words flowed - dreamy, yet very precise - and just how you painted Chad, watching him interact with the people in his life.
And out of curiosity, is the scooter a reference to FLCL? Ah well, the question's secondary to the awesomeness of the story. Thanks for writing this! |
IVIaedhros 2008-09-17 . chapter 1The semi-mystic, native content of many of the stories is well suited to the silent giant. I enjoyed the read, well done. |
Avalon Estel 2008-06-06 . chapter 1*squees and dies*
This.
Is.
Gorgeous.
This is probably the single best Chad fic I've ever read in my entire life. I love this, I love Chad, and I love you. Thank you SO MUCH for writing something so appreciative of his character. The amount of ideas and miniscule details in this were just mind-blowing. Magnificent work! |
Mellow Penelo 2008-04-09 . chapter 1I've had this on my favorites list for awhile, and I'm sorry I didn't review sooner.
You have a great style. Each segment so deep, yet wonderfully simple. I think that's what makes a great writer, begin able to back a punch, so much meaning in a single sentence.
Through simple paragraphs you illustrated the relationship between Chad and his Grandpa exquisitely. And Theres allot of vivid imagery.
I love the reference to easter island. Those colossal mysterious statues, just seem to *fit* with Chad.
I can't find anything wrong with it, So thank you for such a great piece. |
Gabunny 2008-02-16 . chapter 1This was an amazing collection of gems, well done. Chad is such a wonderful character and it's great to see such a wide range of points illustrated about him.

 Ralindir 2007-09-22 . chapter 1 That was beautiful...Just...beautiful...
*hugs Chad*

Raindog Bride 2007-01-29 . chapter 1I like this. A lot. I like it partly because I like Chad, who I've liked since I first saw him and went, "Hey... he's TALL." But I really like it for the writing, the disconnected feel to it, and and underlying theme. So thank you. |
shira syndrome 2007-01-08 . chapter 1I remember this was the first 20 facts fanfic I ever read, randomly chanced upon in someone's rec list. I eventually forgot where I found it, the title, and who it was by, but when I tried my hand at my own 20 facts challenges, the second last sentence was something that just stuck with me. Doesn't happen often with me.
I can't help but smile at unexpectedly finding it again. Sort of like meeting an old friend, or something. |
Kane Shi Megami 2006-12-18 . chapter 1Aww man, that was good! Chad is one of my favs on the series :) |
 NybCR 2006-11-17 . chapter 1Very nice and a little sad. I enjoyed it very much. ^_^ |
Sabriel41 2006-09-24 . chapter 1...I suppose I shouldn't even have read this, having just met canon!Chad, but your summary drew me in. "Stories" is gorgeous; within these twenty truths, you've spun a beautiful story yourself, with more history than a thousand words could cover.
.
I envy your deft hand with language - "watching an earthquake shake a mountain" stands out - as well as your ability to weave a world around these characters.
.
Keep up the awesome work, and best of luck with future writing! Regards,
~Sabriel. |
