This author is not intimidated by a difficult timeline and ably weaves her story back and forth through a month in the life of Marshall Dillon. I am impressed that every characters' voices are perfect. She must be very familiar with all the characters to achieve such perfection. A+

There were so many things that I liked about it,it's impossible to name them all! One thing that stuck out in particular though is your wonderful handle on the characters-you have Doc, Matt and Kitty just down pat. The dialogue the actions are completely believable. This would have made for a wonderful episode! Annette :)
Rose 2006-01-07 ch 9, anon.	abuseThis is how Gunsmoke should have ended. Infact, how come everybody else knew she was his woman but him. Yes, this is definitely worth the time to read. It seems to follow the mood of Gunsmoke with a few new rules of it's own. This story is one of the best I've read in a long time. Shame you weren't born 40 years ago or so. They definitely could have used a writer like you.

Love the line 'Desperately, he tried to distract his overwhelmed body, closed his eyes and conjured up visions of toothless old Miz Harper and her equally homely eighteen children'. That one really made me laugh. I like your M/K interactions (not just the sexual ones) and of course a great story line. Thanks for the entertaining read, Amanda. Blendini
