I truly enjoyed this story. Once I got through and began to understand the gene altering it was very smooth. I’m with catgrl106 and Shadowhcsr, among others; I see a whole series, of oneshots if you like, taking us through the adventures of Hiko’s search for his ‘cub’ and Kenshin’s survival with…whoever it is that has him. A sequel is worth considering, from my POV. :-)

I'm a bit confused, I don't understand what happended at the end, about the place where it starts with the "he's gone" part, up until... well, until the end really. I never really started understanding again. I don't suppose you'd mind explaining it to me? Also, is that the end like, THE END, or is it the end of the chapter, or are you making a sequel, or anything? I'd love it if there were more to it, though it's an extraordinary story by itself.

I don't know what it is exactly when you write you're Rurouni Kenshin but I absolutely love how you portray the characters. I think you just have an amazing grasp of the characters that Watsuki-sama writes and despite the futuristic and fantasy or science fiction/horror elements added to your alternate universes, you're stories are a joy for me to read. I'll definately be going through your stargate stories next though I'm not that familiar with the others I might be slow to read throught them.

I think you had a wonderfully accurate portrayal of Hiko as well as his relationship with Kenshin, something that is never really deeply explored in the manga but is hinted at quite well. A lot of authors seem to go overboard with the "baka-deshi" slant. I think you did a wonderfull blend of Hiko's strong arrogance, reluctant but caring and slightly awkward 'parent' and Master/aprentice relationship that Kenshin and Hiko shared.

Like your other readers I hope to find a continuation of this story line. I would love to see the adventures of both Hiko and Kenshin. No doubt Kenshin will be looking for a way to escape as well as he can while hiding what he is. How successfull he will be only the author knows. (not so subtle hint;)) and of course Hiko seems to have a definate starting point. I guess it depends on how successfull Hiko's alli at keeping his connections hidden and Kenshin does end up where Hiko thinks he will. And if the timing is right as well.

It would be an interesting "what if" if Hiko can rescue Kenshin from being part of secret ops and avoid the emotional damange Kenshin aquires when he became a Hitokiri in the orriginal story line. I look forward to any future installments you may make in this story as well as your blades of blood universe. Thank you for sharing your literary creativity and please keep on writing.

I'm planning on writing Hiko for the first time in a little bit, so I've been doing some research reading (hey, only geniuses do it, right?), and when I saw that you had a Hiko p.o.v., I knew I had struck gold. Blades of Blood and Witchy Woman are some of my favorite fanfics, and this is definitely up there. Thanks so much for writing it!

You know this was bit puzzling, but pleasantly puzzling! I always thought resembled a big cat (sh... don't tell him please x_x) so I guess claws fit him quite well!:D Interesting idea! I usually don't like AUs and future fics, but this just grabbed me. Is this "world" taken froma sci-fi, as I said I do not read much sci-fi, so could you tell me which one is it?
I think you could merge the RK universe with this Alternate Universe very well, the scenes fit and they weren't disturbing my feelings about Ruroken! Thanks this was a nice writing!:)
