LadyTwist 9/23/05 . chapter 3
Wow! Little hard to read, but considering the topic/time frame that's to be expected. I thought you pulled it off really well!

Erratic, yet poignant. Really, this fic was something else. It was startling, yet it meant something, and that's what really counts. It's quite a milestone piece to hold oneself up to. Anyways, to be blunt; this fic fucking rocked, and thanks for writing it.

Wow. An interesting concept that was executed quite well. I got a huge kick out of seeing various scenes from the characters past and their possible futures as the way each different scene (and chapters) smoothly flowed into each other. The insertion of different bits of dialogue from the game also helped maintain a rather spooky and surreal atmosphere. Good job. This one is going into my favorites list.

Great story. you managed to convey the feeling of time and space being ripped apart, and keep it all clear and easy to follow. Robert Dogwood recomended this story to me, and he was right for it is a really special piece. Bravo.
RobertDogwood 2/18/02 . chapter 3
Well, I was completely blown away. I usually like to review each chapter by itself, but someone important to me asked to read it straight through and review at the end, so I did and I see their point. It completely flowed together from beginning to end and even the chapter headings when read from chapter 3 made a complete poetic thought. Lord, have mercy on us all, because the best of us (certainly not me) is now second best since Z has written this. And the ending was so moving (at least to me) - tears and all. If I had ten pages it would not be enough space to say all that I would wish to say about this completely original (in plot and style) work. It caught every bit of the nightmarish nuance of time compression while moving backwards and forwards in time from character to character in a free style prose (I actually would compare a lot of it to poetry) that presented some tradional hide bound characters in a completely new light - never to be looked at in the same way again - not by me, anyway. This is the best! Kudos is too light of praise for something this magnificent, so I'll just say congratulations on a job extremely well done.

Err.. you must be the absolutely coolest FF8 author in existence. I promise. So what else is new? Nive to see a time compression fic I don't have to read three times just to understand..

Ah well. _Don't_ stop writing.
Isabel DeVore 6/24/01 . chapter 3

Ooooooh. Prettypretty. And, more coherently - a very good look at the three characters that I was never sure if I like or not. I like this version of them, and will pay more attention to them the next time they're on-screen.
Medea 5/9/01 . chapter 3
