This was a sad, intense story. I love your characterization of Bear, he's so sweet and gentle. One of my favorite characters on the series and very under used IMO. I was mildly surprised by the bits of harsh language here and there, not because it isn't realistic, but because you obviously don't hear it on the show. But it added to the drama and emotions of the characters and definite adult themes for this story. Good job!

Another great Sindy/Bear story. This time a lot more serious. You write the characters so well. I would love to read more Sindy/Bear fannfic, but I know that won't happen anytime soon. Thanks for brightening up my days with all your wonderful Bear/Sindy fanfic.

OMG! HOW did I miss this story Mady? OK, I am apparently on a CHiPs roll right now, reading all those that I've missed, and I thought I'd read all yours! :O Guess I was wrong.

I love the Barry/Sindy relationship... they go so well together! You handled the Rape very well and then you had to go and add her being pregnant? Wow. And Bear is so sweet and protective... and of course there's my Jon... ever gallant and always there for his friends. Gawd I love that man! And then she loses the baby! Meanie! LOL But very well done.

I can't wait for another story from you... you're awesome!

This was one of my favorite shows! An aspiring writer myself, I thought the plot stayed in line with the show. You captured Gatraer's personality so well. And Sindy was my fav characher.

This would have been material producers would have incorporated if the show was updated. And it shows (as all shows of that era in prime time)dangers of current drug/rape practices.

Having Sindy even consider not reporting it and her reasons why also upgrade her character from 'female' cop to human being in uniform.

I hope you keep writing. Please let me know what else you've written. I recently came across hatrackriver.com that has lots of writing tips in the writer's class section. I mention it because it gave me some insight into ways to approach dialog and story development. Are you considering scriptwriting? Since you're doing the TV genre (and well, I might add) it may be an avenue to consider.
