Neat, I like thinking about motivations as well, the relationship between Luna and Lina has always struck me as strange. I think the description of Lina was truer in the first season than later but it made me think, thanks I like thinking _ and figuring out the motivations of characters.

Whoa... I like this one. I guess it's true, I've always thought that Lina must have transplanted the relation between her and her sister onto her and Gourry, which leads to the inevitable beatings. Yet, using Amelia here was a very good idea, as it sets a good parallel with the relation between Lina and her sister. Zelgadis... would never admit to fear that easily, even in his own mind, whereas Gourry, err, who knows what's in his mind? ; It's kind of sad, yes, all these things just come back in a full circle. *sigh*. By the way, about songfics? Do like I do: just skip the lyrics. I don't know 95% of the songs used anyway _.
