Okay. That was just sad. Depressing too. But so perfectly executed, the way it silently went from scene to scene...*shiver* If I were Okita, I would be haunted by that forever. Cutting off your friend's head...the poor man. I hope you write more of these! :)

That made me tear up. It was short - but really beautiful. Doesn't everyone imagine their loved ones waiting for them when it comes to the end? Though it was sad, it wasn't depressing. The last line was just so poignant. Excuse me. I must dash off before I start bawling like a baby.

Don't know what to say. This was just...so moving, so incredibly sad...It's a real challenge to convey emotion in just a few words, but god, you did it here. Everything. It was sparse, but incredibly effective in conveying their feelings.
