This was super cute. It's hard to resist Christmas-related romances in general, but it was nice getting to see Syd doing her little 'helping others' thing that we actually don't see her do often, and I enjoyed that. Great job! Hope your exams went well. :)

Cool. The mistletoe part was my fav.LOL.

This was very nice. Syd got to be the hero and maybe that mistletoe kiss will lead to something more.

That...was incredibly fluffy :) But enjoyable nevertheless. I liked the situation with Sky's family--it was different, and financial woes always seem to resonate the most around the holiday season. Knowing how Sky is, being the source of the family income is definitely not a good place for him because he really would work himself to an early grave. Poor fella. I was pretty sure he'd be a little upset that Syd interfered with his problems without telling him.

Oh, and I think Syd would make a very adorable elf!

First off, this was a really sweet, heart-warming type of story. It made me smile muchly and has put the pressure on for the Christmas fic that I've been working on. :) I think you've done an admirable job capturing Syd's character and a side of her that we don't perhaps see on a regular basis. And the scene towards the beginning where she sings and Sky gets irritated was amusing and gave a good glimpse into their characters.

With that said, I felt that the beginning dragged just a tad. Some of the scenes were a touch long and one or two could have perhaps been left out. However, you made it through those without losing my attention, so cheers to that! But once you introduced the tension -- the main plot point of Sky's financial problems and Syd resolving to help him out -- things started to flow much better. :)

And I have to say, as much as I love your AU work, having families and whatnot purely cannon was great! I loved the dynamic between the various members of the Tate family... and I loved the scene when Syd was paying the bills and calling her dad to ask about their pharmacy and whatnot. Syd and her credit cards... LOL!

Loved the party and the end scene -- I was right with Syd about what Sky's reaction would be. Was he going to be happy about it? Was he going to be livid? He is rather stubborn... and for just a moment, I thought he was going to swing to livid before he hugged her. That's a true mark of how far his character has come since the beginning of the series.

Overall, I enjoyed this piece. It was sweet, thoughtful, you brought in minor plots with Z and Jack and even a little bit on Bridge... great work!
