Well! I am very glad I found this story! :) I love Jareth and Sarah's interactions so far, and I especially love the way you're incorporating the rest of the Goblins into the "real" world - that's something I hadn't necessarily thought of.

My only critique would be that in the beginning few chapters, and sometimes even now, the story reads very passively. Stylistically it's improving as they interact more, and I think inclusion of dialogue helps the writing seem more "active." I'm sorry if this doesn't make much sense; the best way I can think to describe it is that the first chapter particularly read (to me, mind all this is subjective) like a person *listing* events and description... the reader is being "told" what's going on and not "shown." Some people don't mind that stylistically, but I feel that active writing is usually more engaging.

At any rate, I love what you have so far and can't wait to read more. I think your take on this is very creative and you've done well keeping characterizations as one would expect in a realistic, post-Labyrinth world. Very nice, and I look forward to reading more! :)

I know I have more to read but I had to pause and say thank you. Thank you writing what it is like to lose someone. And thank you for noting Mr. Bowie does not in fact have heterochromia. I take a lot of flack for that.

So many wonderful things, evolving from an eighties film composed mostly of puppets and very poor singing from said puppets.

And the tight pants, oh my dear sweet and fluffy LORD, the TIGHT PANTS. I can't even look at a pair of leggings without either cringing or bursting out in hysterical laughter.

And then I come across these masterpieces of poignant thought and raw emotion revolving around two of the most underdeveloped characters in film history, and I fall head over heels in love with it all, even the silly bits.

Goodness gracious, what is this world coming to...
