Wow! You have a fantastic handle on the characters and you're great at world-building. I love the way you've modeled the cities in FFVI on real-world cultures. Your writing is clear and evocative, your dialogue is innovative, everything about this story rocks. :) My favourite scene was when Sabin and Gau found Cyan in the garden.

I've never been very big on FF6 (seeing as I lost my copy of the game halfway through the Veldt), but I really, really like this story. Is it finished? I hope not. I'd like to read more.

I've also been reading some of your other writing, and it's all good. Have you ever considered becoming a professional writer (if you aren't already - I don't know)?

Anyway, keep up the good writing, finish Good Enough, continue to have a cool name that I somehow can't pronounce...

Wow, I loved how you had Relm paint Shadow's portrait and the way you handle how her skill works in a real life setting rather than a videogame. The moogles were especially cute ;)

There aren't a lot of stories about what happens in the world of ruin, especially not ones revolving about relationships. When you think about it though this is probably the time when the relationships of the characters really cement.

This is a pleasant and sweet story. I really love how you make the relationships between alternate pairings believable. Your writing really shines with the slightly sassy, clever and irritatingly adolescent Relm-you write her better than anybody I've ever seen. You write drama in a way that is extremely compelling without being overdone.

I really enjoy this story, with the different plots going on, all woven together. Sabin in particular is done really well, and so are Relm and Shadow. I really enjoy reading their dialogues and conversations - very believable.

I really like the way you characterize Sabin as being really tender-hearted. Sometimes I think Sabin doesn't get the attention he deserves, but you sure are doing him justice. The focus on Relm and Shadow is great too.

I found the timeline a bit confusing at first, but it's easy enough to pick up after a little while. I do like that you're exploring these different traditions within their world, and the mix of characters "onscreen" at any given time isn't overwhelming at all. Well done! I'm looking forward to more. ^_^
