I ABSOLUTELY loved your fic!! Form the very begining everything was almost as I would have written this fanfiction. The characterisacion was really good. About rhe pairings, well, I've never thought of Rufus/Jessie, but I found it fine. And Vincent/Elmyra? Too odd for me.XP Perhaps you should have included a bit more of sephaeris fluffness (or maybe I'm being a bit mushy). I adored the beginig as I said, and also the middle, but the five ending chapters, I don't know. They are OK but they could have been better. Now that I mencion this, in the epilogue you tried to give the impression Aeris died, well, it DIDN'T worked on me (I'm a bit psyquic for that kind of things). And also the image of holding the shoulder form behind, I pictured Advent children (somehow with Aeris and Sephiroth).
Another thing I won't forget is Aeris rambling with the medicine. It made me giggle every bit of it.
I feel as if I were to coment everything of the fic, I'll make it a bit shorted. I liked Zack's message to his parents (for some unknown reason, it's hard to explain).

All in all, a great fic. It was really worthy of reading :D

Hate to nit pick, but stopping Mitosis means you would die faster.

Also, healing is a function of mitosis, as are muscle growth and pretty much anything else. Body without cell replication = corpse.

I just read the whole story in one night. I'm sleep-deprived enough to feel a bit like drugged-up Aeris, but I can say that it was absolutely worth it! Incredible story, excellent writing, and a brilliant AU.

I love your story! Normally I do not submit a review until I've read it to the end, but I couldn't wait with yours. I especially love LONG stories with LONG chapters. I know they can be taxing, but the results are well worth the effort. Did you heave a big sigh of relief when you finished? You should be proud of yourself. Not everybody can complete what they started.

Fantastic. Simply fantastic. I'm glad to see you've managed to get through this to the end. Though I'm not too happy about a sequal. I don't know. It just feels...better thinking that it's complete now. I don't know if I'm a hypocrite or someone who can empathize, since I've been planning on writing the sequal to Duel of Fates for over a year and a half now with little to no progress. Enough about me. This story was great, and I hope to see more of your work in the future. I'll be sure to check your website.

My heart actually started beating faster when the group split up. I actually started to believe some of the charcters wouldn't survive in chapter. Pathetic, I know. I'm scarred from reading The Way of the Force (check my Favorites).

I like the quiet epilogue. Some things really did catch me by surprise. Cloud and Tifa, it's bittersweet. I guess Cloud can't ever really escape the makings of an emo life, even in AU. ;D But it's hopeful and touching all the same.

I couldn't ask for better development of Jessie and Rufus throughout the story. It was perfect, at least by my own amateur tastes. Subtle at first and with a good throughout instead of the more common "Who do you like?" route.

And SEPH! It's been done like this before and you still got me. I knew Aeris couldn't *really* be dead (I was always rooting for a happy ending) but at the same time I couldn't think of who Sephiroth would talk to that way and halfway through I actually seriously considered that this was going to be terribly, beautifully tragic. You got me good! I like that last scene. Sweet and fumbling but heading towards comfortable again.

Take your time with the sequel. I'll be looking forward to it!
