wow it was a beautifully written story, and you did such a great job tying everything together and making it match with the anime. A part of me did wish the ending was different so that it wasn't like the anime/manga, but it I still enjoyed it. Thanks for all the hours you put into this.

OMG, IT'S DONE! *hugs* The ending kinda reminded me of the end of Titanic, when Rose meets up with Jack again (yeah, I'm a dork).

Oh wow...I think the ending was beautiful, though I feel sad for Inuyasha, trying to find his way in the world.

I like Inu no Taisho and Izayoi, their love for each other seemed so full of trials and tribulation, and how Inu no Taisho only met his son for like, a few minutes of his life?? Wow...and he already knew how his son is to be like in the future, with all the demon blood and transformation, using the Tetsusaiga to protect his blood, huh??

But I'm glad that both Inutaisho and Izayoi have found each other, and now I think they both have all eternity...

This has been an amazing, epic story (with an epically long wait for the last chapters), and this is the best inuyasha fanifc I ever read. It ending in a tragedy of sorts works well, and fits canon, too. It's been wonderful reading this, and I will look forward to whatever you write in the future.

eh, I don't think that it's entirely wrong, maybe the, er, "sessmom" in the manga could be someone who took a hurt Sessh under her wing like a stepmom...or something like that. Idk

I am moved to the brink of tears. This is quite possibly the best Inuyasha fic I ever read.

Well, I sure did right following this fic from deviantart to here. (Greatkingrat88, commented and was advised to read it here)
I just love this- the conflict of a lord too dignified and his love, the political struggle, the action... this fic is everything a fanfiction should be. The little breaks to young Sesshomaru and how he handles the situations make for a great and interesting subplot. And to think there's twenty more chapters.

I'll be adding this to my favourites for sure.

Thanks for the reply earlier. Finally finished now. And I have seen the 3rd movie before. I think the beginning part was my favorite and I was disappointed it wasn't longer. That's probably another reason I love this story. Ah well, even if it is caught up, still can't wait til it's finished.

You probably heard this so much already, but I just wanted to also say that this is a very wonderful story. It's hard to find a good Inuyasha fanfic but for a backstory, you have done so well in both the writing and plot. I was going to wait until I got to the end to comment, but after reading this chapter I couldn't help it. It fits everything together so nicely and it was so sweet and sad at the same time. Thanks for such a wonderful story ^-^

It might be a bit too late to fix these details... I think hosenki and the black pearl in Inuyasha's eye were both forgotten in the story.

Also, not entirely sure about this since I haven't seen the movie in awhile, but I'm almost sure that Izayoi pulls out the sword Takemaru stabbed her with -- off screen.

Just felt the need to point that out. ;p
