I think the beginning part was my favorite and I was disappointed it wasn't longer. That's probably another reason I love this story. Ah well, even if it is caught up, still can't wait til it's finished.

It's hard to find a good Inuyasha fanfic but for a backstory, you have done so well in both the writing and plot. I was going to wait until I got to the end to comment, but after reading this chapter I couldn't help it. It fits everything together so nicely and it was so sweet and sad at the same time. Thanks for such a wonderful story ^-^

Sorry I couldn't leave a long review, it's 2 a.m right now... xP It might be a bit too late to fix these details... I think hosenki and the black pearl in Inuyasha's eye were both forgotten in the story. Also, not entirely sure about this since I haven't seen the movie in awhile, but I'm almost sure that Izayoi pulls out the sword Takemaru stabbed her with -- off screen. Just felt the need to point that out. ;p
Kohana 2008-07-04 ch 33, anon.	abuseUm Wow. I came across this story a while ago, and I took my time reading it, and I have to say: This is one of the best fics I have ever read. I've always wanted to find a good Inutaisho/Izayoi fic, and I think I found what I was looking for. I'm kinda sad though that I came in when you only have about two chapters left. I would've been nice to have been here along for the whole story, but ah well such is life. I do hope to see the next two chapters soon ^^ I'm actually excited for them. Keep up the good work and many compliments to this amazing story!!

I do think you should take out the mini-paragraph, "In an hour or two, the men peacefully slumbering in the valley below them would wake and wonder where they were. They could not bring themselves to care in the slightest. An hour was composed of thousands of eternal moments. There was plenty of time, more than enough to communicate what needed to be understood," as it really messed up the flow for me. The sudden change in the point of view was too confusing.

It's kind of sad reading about them finally winning and making up and knowning in less than 9 months he's dead and she's raising the kid on her own. Ah well, enjoy it while it lasts.
