Where to begin...I really love that you've got an X-men/Emma/Femslash story going on. She's my favorite.

I was getting the idea that this was a slow build up and courting relationship type of plot. You really threw me by only having one brief kiss in the story so far and then the shower scene that is implied yet no detail at all revealed. I wasn't even sure that Emma really took it with her since you don't mention that Emma's hair is wet too. I guess our styles don't necessarily jive but that's alright. Keep writing, just give us a little action from time to time.

Sounds to me like Emma has a plan to handle this situation with the Watchers. And that means not only giving Buffy the extra training she needs, but making sure that Dawn gets some as well. Emma IS NOT going to let anyone take a person under her protection, ESPECIALLY the Summer women! Anyone tries, and heads WILL ROLL!

I just stumbled across this. You obviously know both universes very, very well. I like what you're doing here. With no Giles and Scooby gang, Emma Frost and her understanding of the world will serve very well. Looking forward to more of this. (OK, I'm hoping the Giles one shows up rather than the Wesley ... I sure hope the Council sends Giles next, he's about the only watcher who would be acceptable.
I'm glad Emma isn't pushing to have Buffy never slay at all-even if she tries, she won't be able to not-be the slayer, too many supernatural types will seek her out. Spike/Dru shouldn't be to far off... I'm surprised Angel hasn't shown up yet (directed by Whistler).

Nice bit of work, I have to admit.
A BIT uncertain about the idea of Joyce having been bisexual in college, I admit- mainly given that I don’t recall ANY reference being made to her inclining that way even when she ate the band candy-, but it makes for an original pairing, so I’m prepared to overlook that.
Character development is also looking fairly promising so far, I have to admit; Emma’s decision to give Buffy further opportunities for assistance in the fight- as well as her condemnation of the Watchers- did a very effective job of establishing her as a ‘second’ mother-figure, and the appearance of Mystique and Destiny actually makes for a rather interesting addition, even if Mystique’s being a bit more ‘civil’ to Joyce than I would have expected from that woman.
As far as future chapters go, I just have three questions;
1. Are the Hellfire Club going to be playing a part in events any time soon?
2. Will we get to see Buffy and Dawn’s reactions to Joyce’s relationship with Emma any time soon?
3. Any chance that someone else from “Buffy”- Angel, Doyle and/or Spike spring to mind- will be showing up on the scene any time soon?
That aside, everything’s looking promising so far; keep up the HIGHLY intriguing work...

I liked these last two chapters a lot because they really solidified the connection between Buffy and Emma as a parent/guardian. I again love to see Emma's crisp practical approach to the situation. I wonder though if it is a bit of a struggle to figure out which character is the main and so the story slant comes from. Some of the story direction or perception slant seems a bit jostled although I couldn't really put my finger on it until now. Perhaps it is just me. Some suspense has been built up about where the story will go now or perhaps not so much where it will go but how it will get there. Emma is adding some neat options even at the end of the last chapter that provide some potential twists. After all she know mutants. Anyway lovely to see some new material. I loved reading it and look forward to more in the future when you get the chance. Thank you for sharing.

good, some support would be nice. Meanwhile... Sunnydale is becoming like "The Wish" -- Xander & Willow will be vampires soon etc etc... The worst part of all this is that she IS the slayer and without her, things will get very bad.
The council...I can almost understand them. Why bother investing a lot of training in someone who's only going to live for about 1-2 years? Hugely expensive, and hey, lose a slayer, get another one for free... And it's probably hard to invest in a slayer (emotionally) once you've lost a few (supposedly Merrick had trained 5 slayers in succession) -
But yeah some training/armor/support etc would do quite a lot. But she does need to go to Sunnydale soon or the Master will take over...

Great new parts, love the attitude that EMma is taking and that she wants to help Buffy, hope this will be a turning point for Emma and Buffy, i'd love to see them getting closer Emma is the kind of guide that Buffy needs, someone she can trust and confide in.

Will Giles make an appearance? And what of the other Scoobies? It's a great story, though I just CAN'T see Joyce having a female lover. I have nothing against it, but it just doesn't make sense for me. But that's me. Hope you update this soon.
