Especially the ending part of this chapter; those kinds of scenes can be difficult to pull off, particularly the humor aspect, but it went off quite fluidly and very nicely! I'm not sure if you're thinking about continuing this story, as it's been about 2 years since your last post, but I absolutely enjoyed it and will defintely read the next part if you decide to post! -_~

It was still funny as hell, though! And I just loved when Yusuke trapped Kurama against the sink to kiss him! Can we say hot? Yes, we can. Update soon!
Ylang-Ylang 2006-10-01 ch 2, anon.	abuseUnlike your other stories, this has neither action nor any particular drama. It's simple...rather musing in the way your write it. What makes this story stand out from all the rest is the sheer comedic genius in the way you structure the dialogue (and the fact that you're not thrusting yourself, thinly disguised as an original character into the story, but I digress). Kuwabara's dialogue, both inner and outer, are hilarious and perfectly in character; both Yusuke and Kurama dialogues ring with accurancy and character. Brilliant and excellently done!
darknesspirals 2006-09-30 ch 2,	abuseOhh... So mean. Poor Yusuke. I hope Kurama feels bad. Anyway. This style is drasticly different from the one you used for a lot of your other stories. It stays on the surface of the story more rather than getting deeper and dipping into their thoughts. It's fluffy. But very amusing. So long to leave it unupdated though! I hope you don't leave us as long this time before re-igniting our curiosity. Good writing!
BlueUtopiah 2006-09-24 ch 2,	abuseThis story is very amusing. YAY for persistent and charmingly cocky Yusuke. I agree with Kuwabara, the Detective would probably end up being a porn star if allow to persue an entertainment career...although he was pretty good as a newscaster (insert snickering here). I laughed out loud when Kuwabara fell out of the tree, and Kurama is wonderful in this - his characterization is spot on.
