I really love how they are thinking back there, its really nice to get some background to them. Poor Luke, only wanting his parents. Well, I can understand it.

I love it how Bo was snatching cookies, he always is, isn't he? the sweet boy.

That lamb is realy cute, reminds me of a few lambs I've known.

I liked this. It was really sweet.

This was an adorable piece of Christmas fluff. Thank You for writing it. Favorite scenes from it include the following: I like how the Dukes take cookies to the orphanage, and I like Bo stealing cookies. He would. I enjoyed the banter lines between the boys especially Luke teasing Bo about his homemade ornament. I LOVE Luke's walk down memory lane, and I like how you explained the significance of that ring. I've always wondered about that. The series never dealt with it but you did. Good for you. "Sparkling blue eyes"--Nice image. Comparing and contrasting the diference in Luke before his parents died is good too. The scene with little Luke praying to being taken to his parents is heartbreaking (Sniffle!!). "sorrow...pride" is good. The balance of humor and sadness at Luke wanting a little brother and his mother's memory of Jud being lost is quite well done. "And the one ain't happenin'" is a nice line. Luke crying at the memory is sniffley too. Poor baby!! Daisy "squealin' like a banshee" as a girl and being embarrassed about it as a woman--Another nice image (heehee). Jesse telling little Luke the puppy came from his parents--Aww!! How sweet!! I LOVE Bo's "Always wondered how that dog got that name when he was anythin' but" and Luke's "Well, he grew" (heehee). Luke's love and care for him made him grow. My fav. line from the entire fic is "...pigs don't fly, but that Hogg sure flew up that tree... (HaHaHa). Luke saying Bo was his little brother before Jud is great too. I LOVE how they all sing "Do You Hear What I Hear?". The lamb in the house is adorable too, and whether it was intentional or not, a wonderful metaphor for the birth of Jesus. All in all, this was a wonderful story.

That was a great story. I felt so bad for Luke, the poor kid. Keep up the good work!

Very nice, sentimental story, but not cloying. Luke was always my favorite. I liked how you wrote him brushing away a tear, but Bo pretending not to notice.
