I read 'Lost' and thought it was beautiful. This one is just as fine. Well done, it's really, really great.

This was lovely. The peek into Elladan's consuming despair was heart wrenching. It's a wonderful step from and into the story it hails from.

Yay!! What a wonderful, wonderful little christmas present for all of us. My father read this over my shoulder (I didn't even know he'd been there the entire time, that's how wrapped up I was!) and he sends his compliments--"Fine piece of insight into the elvish mind", he says. Yeah, he's a little loopy.

But I thought it was great, too. I could tell you'd hurried, but there were still so many accurate and heart-wrenching details that I couldn't help but love it anyway!! Great work!

It is an interesting glimpse on Elladan's feelings during his search...*sniff* poor Elladan...*pads little Elladan's head* - now it's easier to imagine his feelings when he finally is reunited with Elrohir...

But one question is forming in my mind by reading this oneshot. It sounds like Elladan never returned to Imaldis during his search for his twin...so in some way Elrond didn't 'just' lose Elrohir but both of the twins for years? poor Ada-Elrond...*sniffels*
