Not familiar with the other series but your primer helped. Good story. I loved the ending. Hehe!

OMG! Hilarious! Never seen an ep of Man From UNCLE, but it was almost incidental anyway so no big. I got the jist of the characters from the story itself. Not a bad plot, some wonderfully snarky dialogue (and Nick's private thoughts!), and was a well-written interesting perspective on one of Nick's past lives.

But frankly, the best part was seeing LaCroix drunk! Singing "a bawdy Roman marching song-the one about the senator's wife, the one-eyed centurion, the three Thracian slaveboys, and the goose." ROTFLMAO! Oh, the vision of the always-in-control master vampire giggling and singing off key... I think this story deserves it's own missing scene; Poor Nicholas suffering on the long flight home with an intoxicated ancient who wants to buzz the Empire State Building in a fly-by. Hah! Oh, that's too good! LOL!

I read this over on file 40 a while ago. It's great! Lacroix high on the tranqualizer made me laugh out loud in the uni computer room. ooops!

Maybe he should have brought Illya across though, it would have been interesting!

I love crossovers like this, two of my favourite shows combined into one story!
