abuseI really love this one. You clearly took the time to develop it and you have some turns of phrase and observations that are seriously wonderful. Like: "A few people stared at him and he smiled back pleasantly, striding by. Despite his unusual features, he never attracted much attention. He wore neutral colors to melt into a crowd, and his movements were neither silky nor jerky." That is fantastic.

The character of Trek was fully realized and extremely well-written. Every word was perfectly in character.

My only criticism, and it is not really a criticism, but more of a wish, would be that you had made this the AU version of Atton's revelation. In the game, it's a female Jedi, of course, that shows him that he is a Force sensitive and opens her mind and he kills her and whatnot, but I thought for sure this fic was leading up to that same revelation, slashy-style. Talk about creative. As it is, I thought it was terrific, if a little choppy at the end, but on the whole, excellent work.
