tanpopo 2009-11-26 . chapter 15 I just re-read this story and despite knowing what was going to happen I was till glued to the screen.
Defenitely one of my all time favourites!! (And I do have over 600 fics saved... so that is saying something *g*) The storyline you came up whit is just amazing, I bow to the creativity of your mind, and to your writing skills.
You just pull me in, you know? I'm right there in the story, breathing it... that's really the best thing that can happen when reading a story.
Thanks :)
If you ever decide to write more Thunderbirds fic I will probably weep with joy . |
Uzumaki Fenix 2009-09-01 . chapter 15DUDE! THAT WAS FRIGGIN AWESOME! That kept me on the edge of my seat for many chapters! Great job! |
 johnnyboyrules 2008-12-30 . chapter 9Hello
I just started reading "Psycics" and saw the authors note in chapter 9. I just want to say Wisconsin has just as many lake or possibly more even though Minnesota advertises it. Great story by the way. |
tiylaya 2008-10-23 . chapter 15I very much enjoyed this story - in fact, because of it, I only got three hours sleep last night. I was hooked on it into the early hours of the morning.
In places it was very reminiscent of X-Men, Heroes and other persecuted-gifted-minority-type settings. That shouldn't be taken as a criticism; as a scenario it was well constructed and well executed. You got a real sense of the pathos of the situation, and how much of a struggle it must be to deal with.
While the characters were recognisably our familiar Tracy boys, this didn't really feel like a Thunderbirds fic. I think the persecution and powers just took it too far from the original premise of the series. With the difference in tone as well as in character motivation and ability, it's a little hard to reconcile with the television programme or film. On the other hand, this is an AU, and as a story standing alone, it was a fantastic piece of work, gripping and dramatic. The original characters were well constructed, and the plot kept moving along at a ferocious rate despite the large number of characters clamouring to have their voices heard.
I noticed a few typos as I went along, but nothing to detract from the overall quality. I loved the interactions between the boys, and the final chapter in particular, with its drama and reunions, stood out as absolutely fantastic writing.
Thanks for posting. |
zookitty 2008-10-18 . chapter 15aw beautiful ending, I love them all cuddled up together, you're making me all teary eyed with this amazing story. Wow...Virgil is incredibly morbid, I love him. and of course Jeff wouldn't be JEFF if he didn't play along with it...morbidly. The Tracy Fortress of Infinite Doom...that is so awesome. I love that you brought Alan's dream back into it! So perfect -grins-
Thunderbirds are GO!
This is such an awesome AU. It's honestly captured my imagination all week. I was wondering, would you mind making it an open AU? Or would you mind if I wrote in it some? All credit would go back to you for creating it, but I just think this AU is to amazing to end with one story.
Please get back to me even if the answer is no, I'd like to know one way or another. You are an amazing writer and I would be honored if you let me.

zookitty 2008-10-18 . chapter 14What a fantastic ending, Ry you blow my mind. I love how complicated it was, especially how each brother knew where the other was. Scott knew where John was...John knew where Virge was...so on. You were setting that up since the beginning and I didn't even notice till now. It was so perfect! |
 zookitty 2008-10-17 . chapter 13WOW! Alan's escape...he's so amazing! -dies- excellent chapter...holy crap!
what an amazing chapter...what's Gordon gonna do? Yay Scott! Kite is a psycho...and the hair dresser...SO someone who would work with Lady P. Oh and I caught your use of the name Mckay again...you are so totally a stargate fan aren't you? |
zookitty 2008-10-17 . chapter 10oh gosh Ry this story is so many shades of amazing --is in awe-- You were so hard, you worked out the details so well and it's so obvious in every line of the story! |
zookitty 2008-10-16 . chapter 2I love this story Ry, poor dears! Such a hard life. It's making me cry =sad face= beautifully written! Thank you for sharing |
TheWall 2008-10-01 . chapter 1this story is fantastic. it did have similarities to xmen in parts but i think u mentioned that in a note anyway, and was still absolutely brilliant. u left it on a note that makes me wonder... r u going to write a sequel? coz if u were it would be totally cool to see the interaction as the thunderbirds but with psychic powers! anyway, congrats on a brilliant story!! |
Angel Spirit 2008-07-25 . chapter 15Holy cow! I'm *very* impressed with this fic...what started out as a skim read to see what the fic was like much earlier in the night turned out to be a full fledged read and I quickly found myself getting completely and totally lost in the fic. It's now three thirty in the morning, and I find myself at a loss for words...I truly loved every minute of this fic, you did a fantastic job with it...I even enjoyed the OC's, and sometimes for me OC's are hard to enjoy but you somehow made them a part of the fic, part of the ordeal that the Tracy's were going through...I think that I was sitting on the edge of my seat throughout half of the fic, almost hiding my eyes at parts of it because I wasn't sure what would happen next or who would survive or who would find whom first. You tied things up very nicely in the end, and I had to laugh at the Tracy boys hospital antics...if I were a nurse in that place, I think I'd have quite too ;p LOL. It was adorable with Jeff curling up with his boys like that in the end, I had to go 'aw...cute!' at the family fluff. MAJOR kudo's to you for a very well done fic, this is *definitely* going on my favorites...now...I do believe it's time to get some z's...^-~v |
spinningleaves 2008-02-07 . chapter 15Absolutely and completely loved it. Just amazing. So long and well thought and original! I can't think of enough praise. I really also loved the way Jeff got his boys back one by one, and by age. That was great! |
SerenaDeb 2007-12-09 . chapter 15This is such an amazing story. I love the idea of the Tracy's in a world with psychic powers, and it was really well imagined and written. And you also captured the realtionhip between the boys beautifully. Please, please, this needs a sequel. (or several) |
tanpopo no hana 2007-12-09 . chapter 15And they lived happily ever after ^_^ Oh I love happy endings! It's true that they are really better off then most other people on earth, but still, I love their closeness and they deserve some peace. *cuddles them all*
The way you described their stay in the hospital was wonderful. Made me all warm and fuzzy inside...
You DO know that this just *screams* for a sequel, *right*?? Oh please write one!! I'll even wait patiently for chapters to come out. Well, I'd try at least. Please consider it!
I can't thank you enough for writing this. I loved every word!! it was just... perfect :o)
Kudos! |
tanpopo no hana 2007-12-09 . chapter 14*sniffle* oh wow... what can I say? What a finale!! Hope, desperation, action and love all mixed into one glorious chapter :o) |
