Wow... I didn't read the author's notes so I was surprised to see Rikku as the antagonist here... O_O; I like the reference to roses... The Al Bhed phrases were a nice touch too, even though I had no clue what it meant. And Gippal... T_T; It was a sad ending.

Oh my goodness. This is, hands-down, one of the best FFX-2 fics I have EVER read. It would be the best, but for the character death. =(

But it was INCREDIBLE. Normally I don't like when authors insert new characters into the story-often they just don't work. But Rilliana is so beautifully crafted that I hardly notice she is a new character. She just seems to... fit. Like a puzzle piece that you don't expect to work.

That was absolutely lovely. I like how dark and in-depth it was, how tastefully unique the idea of a Gippal suicide is. A pleasant change from lovey-dovey happy endings.

Amazing... Definetely a big change of pace from what you usually write, which makes all the more incredible. The way you introduced part by part the different events that unfolded makes it all the more interesting. And it's good to see that Rikku can be just as mean as Gippal at times. The way you ended it was superb, leaving the reader in a sort of suspense/awe. I give it a 10/10!

And congrats on getting a PS2 and the games! I'm sure you're really going to enjoy them, and it'll help you with the caracterisation and descriptions in your fics, not that you need any though :P You write perfectly as it is! But you really deserved the PS2 and games, so I say have a blast!!

Wow! You are such a good writer, everything I've read of yours has been top quality and this is no exception! It's a completely different take on Rikku and Gippal's relationship to other fanfics but it works. It was so sad aswell! I hope Rikku feels eternally guilty when she finds out what Gippal did! :)
