I LOVE THAT LINE! I don't really know why, but I do. I love this confident, happy new Erik, at the end. And I love that Erik is handsome. No other story ever ends like that! (and for some reason, I hadn't quite thought ahead to the transformation, and it hadn't occurred to me that he would, so it was a really nice surprise!). Anyway, this is Erik as we all know he should be, and I'm glad you've finally brought that to us! Please continue!

*sigh* I must say, I'm disappointed. I was enjoying this story. It was well-written, if not particularly original. But you lost me just now, when you had Erik turn into Prince Charming. It worked in BatB, but not for this. In PotO, the whole point of EC phics is that Christine learns to love Erik, deformity and all. Granted, your Christine does fall in love with him, but having Erik go from fugly to handsome just negates a vital aspect of the story. Anyway, I was just really hoping you wouldn't do that.
