beejane 2006-04-30 . chapter 6 I really enjoy this story! Altough there are original characters, it's well organised. What confuses me is the last scene of the story. It is the memory of Snape's childhood. Did it happen just before the attack? What did his mother cry for?
I'm very lucky to read such an amazing story. It makes me think a lot. Pardon me for the lack of the words to express my feelings. I love it mor than I can say. |
hwyla 2006-03-01 . chapter 6 I quite enjoyed Lament of the Prince - I had read some of your older stories before and liked them too. In fact, I'm going to be bold and request you consider finishing Gelda. I had really enjoyed it and was disappointed that it wasn't finished (truthfully, I think Gelda has promise as a real novel instead of fanfic). I also greatly enjoyed The Potion Master's Apprentice. I loved the voices of the plants idea. I would especially like to commend you on your creativity. Your fics never seem to fall into any of the cliches one often meets. I will admit that I found Lament to be probably a bit too off canon for Snape's childhood but he was still very in character and the story quite good (altho' I don't think it's clear enough WHY Harry dies in the end - I suppose he dies because of his link with Voldy?) |
 ForeversNobody 2006-02-26 . chapter 6 wow...that was a really good story!
i cant wait to read your other ones!! |
excessivelyperky 2006-02-26 . chapter 6Good, no, great chapter. It's clear the Snape feels a strange justice in his confinement at Azkaban, mainly for his murder of Albus Dumbledore (one can see a parallel here to Sirius Black, who may have felt a similar sort of justice in his own--not for killing the Muggles, because he didn't, but for his stupidity in not being the Potters' Secret Keeper and letting Peter betray them). |
duj 2006-02-25 . chapter 6Still wondering about Snape's early history. You've only added to the mystery with that comment about steel plates in his head. The reminscence was interesting but rather long. |
excessivelyperky 2006-02-19 . chapter 5What a splendid and heartbreaking chapter. Perhaps the Ministry will find out in the future how difficult it will be to get anyone to spy for them ever again, knowing what will happen to them even if the good guys win. After all, agents are fleeing the CIA right and left, knowing they can be outed by the White House if their spouses have the wrong political opinions. |
duj 2006-01-23 . chapter 4The tortoise detail took my fancy. I'm waiting for you to explain about the Elders. |
excessivelyperky 2006-01-12 . chapter 3Excellent chapter, and brilliant back history. You just don't think of Snape with a family (for one thing, once Dumbledore became his master, when would he have _time_? Or perhaps he had his own Time Turner and this explains his older looking face). |
 duj 2006-01-12 . chapter 3I like Snape's family. |
 duj 2006-01-10 . chapter 2Compelling and different backstory. |
 excessivelyperky 2006-01-09 . chapter 2Fascinating chapter. I hope you're going somewhere with this. |
Lee 2006-01-09 . chapter 1 I can't think why you're not getting more reviews: I am really enjoying this! I thought it would just be another cliche of Snape being misunderstood, but it seems I'm in for a ride.
Keep it up! This is fantastic! |
