Wow, just...WOW. I was very impressed by this little fic, and the way you portrayed the relationship between all the siblings. This was probably one of the very best explorations of the Ishtar siblings. Several times throughout the fic, when Malik expressed utter hopelessness or when he talked to Rishid, I almost cried. It was very moving, and very REAL. I can see such reactions from all of them. Really, you did a wonderful job here. This fic reminded me what I liked so mcuh about the Ishtar siblings! GREAT job.

I've never seen a fic based on Isis and Malik's relationship without it being humor. This was very well done. I liked it and I usually only read romance. Good job

Very beautiful fanfic. Can I put this in my C2?

I always find myself picking out key descriptions you use every now and then, which always make the story seem me more real and engrossing in my point of view. For example that lovely contrast in the first paragraph : 'The room’s objects became softly shrouded in misty light, as if someone had come along and lovingly sprinkled fairy dust upon all. Shadows were shaky, fragmented.' I just love the way you take the childish 'Peter-Panish' imagery of "fairy dust", usually symbolic of the innocence playfullness of childhood and make it clash with the idea of " shaky, fragmented" "shadows" that do not possess any of the same stability childhood or "fairy-dust" does. Kinda forebearing and it seems to tune in adaptly to your characterisation of Malik.
"Scream bobbing in her throat"...nice oxymoron there. I do enjoy how your descriptions always relate back to the characters actions. "boobing" has a playful sound to it that ties in with the way Malik's Yami is playing with his sister...double it up with the more chilling word of "scream" and you get a very twisted relation back to how sadistic he is and how he feeds off her fear, enjoying his role of predator.
I could include more examples but then I would never get round to saying anything about the plot...nice take on that by the way. You're one of the few people out there who isn't afraid to show close phyiscal contact between characters without any romantic connection betwen them. Finally, an author who realises that hugs and playing with someone's hair does not immediatly result in undying romantic love. I'm just a sucker for sibling fics really...

Astonishingly well-written, as always. It's stories like this that make wading through the never-ending swamp of less-than-enjoyable fanfics worth it.
