Good Barret stories are way too hard to find. It was wonderful to come across this one. :)

I'm a few years late, but I agree with Texas Chigger -- great job. I'm relatively new to FFVII, but the details and the characterization look spot on to me.

How is it that you posted this in '05 and only managed to garner one review? What's wrong with people around here? This was a remarkable piece of work. The characterizations were very well done, and it was brief, sudden and tender at the same time - just like the first meeting between those two probably would be. Bravo. :)

Wow! I always wondered how Denzel would meet everybody, especially Barret because Denzel lived on the Plate. You did a really good job with it. Kepp it up!
