Rev'ika 2008-06-21 ch 40,	abuseThis has GOT to be the best KotOR I fic I've ever read, and I've read a lot of them, let me tell you. (I'm obsessive like that...). I liked the fact that, as you said, you never actually described Revan's physically looks. It made things kind of easier for me as a reader not to jump out and say, "Hey Revan does not have [insert eye color, hair color, skin tone ect.]!" (Although I feel like a hyprocrite; I'm doing that in my own story, LOL.) I also like how you didn't just let Revan automatically get over rediscovering her identity. People are always saying that since she (and yes, I'm using "she"; I don't give a heck about cannon) fought in the war, lead an army, was a Sith Lord (Lady if you want to be technical about it) that's she'd either be strong enough to just get over it, would revel in it, or just plain wouldn't care. Plus there's the fact that the game never really dwelled on her coming to terms with the "discovery". One minute your playing through as just another Jedi, the next minute "BANG" your Dark Lord/Lady of the Sith, and Carth's the only one who really stops to think about it. (Mr. Paranoia...) It's always seemed to me though that it's not something you can get over in three chapters; even if you were already Darkside, it's gonna take some consideration. So, anyway to sum up my forever long rant, I like how you actually focused on it, and how Rev had to let the two parts of her reconcile. I have to admit I'm kind of dissapointed that the scene with her leaving and her reasons behind it aren't here, but I'm hoping it'll be in the sequel. Now that I've officially started being as long-winded as Jolee, I'm off to read the sequel. Good Work! -The Graceless Jedi

I don't like how you're making her a total ruin. She's supposed to be one of the strongest characters, physically and mentally. If anyone should try to commit suicide it would be Bastila... Already I'm a fan due to the fact at how well written it is, not to mention your ideas and imaginary are so well used. Everything flows nicely thus far, with the exception of your dialog. Here in chapter one - Escaping Korriban - the conversation betweem Carth, Mission, and Jolee is a bit too back and forth, sorta like ping pong. You need to flush it out a bit, give it some life instead of making it seem so him then her then him. Still, I can't wait to finish this one then move onto Broken Promises! Love your work. A various points I wished I could strangle Carth! He kept saying he wanted to be there for Revan and help her through her problems but then kept getting sidetracked with his own. I have to say, no matter what the purist think, I envision Revan as a female, it just works better for me. Its also how I first played the game. I mean seriously if the creators did not mean for the game to be played as either male of female, they wouldn't include the option! Great job! I will be moving onto the sequel!
PadawanMage 2007-03-14 ch 40,	abuseI just finished reading the entirety of this fic...wow, where do I begin? I certainly love the characterizations of everyone. Plus, when I read your author's notes, I loved the connections with this fic and Serenity. And Jayne as Canderous? Lol! And yes, I can seriously see Revan as River. I can remember reading 'The Courtship of Princess Leia' as well. I think 'Suul' was supposedly an ancestral name of Solo's? As to the whole business of Revan's gender...even though 'officially' Revan is a male, I think it was somewhat of a copout since I read one of the main developers played Revan as a woman. For me, someone who's actually had a hand in making the game carries more weight than some guy sitting in a cubicle deciding canon by rolling a die. ;-) Overall, great fic! And I'll definitely be checking out your other stories as well.
