Yikes, what a depressing story. But hey, you managed to showcase everything that is wrong with the US government in 12 chapters.

I should have bailed when the CIA showed up, that told us right there "no closure" and forget about personal rights. And you've done what I thought was impossible -- made me really dislike Gideon. With "friends" like him around, Reid is lucky he left the bureau.

All hurt, no comfort... I need something to offset this.

This complete story was the most amazing fanfic I have ever read about anything; and I've read a lot. You stayed true to the characters, which is great in itself and helps further the story along in itself, but you also have a wonderful eye for detail and the little decisions, as well as the big ones, that can influence the future. Your spelling was a little off in a few places, but nothing that can't be replaced by the mind or an edit.
I loved this story, and think that however much time you spent making this was well worth it. I had an enjoying time reading this, and at times I had a hard time dragging myself away from the computer to do other things because it was that good. The story line, overall, was paced well, meaning you knew what information to give at the right time. Not many writers for the internet fanfictions know how to do that.
You also didn't give anything that wouldn't be used later.
Down to the very last minute detail, your story was a true episode of Criminal Minds, and should perhaps be shared, even, with the writers of the Criminal Minds script.
I look forward to reading more of your stories, and hope that other readers who come across this particular fanfic will enjoy this expertly constructed adventure as much as I have.

Oh, wow. This was one hell of a story! A bit confusing at times... but touched deep into any Reid's fabid fan! I felt so bad whenever Abby spoke of Reid like a treat that had to be eliminated, but loved how you made the team want to protect their youngest member no matter what. Thanks for sharing your storytelling talent with the rest of the world.
