very nice! I felt soo disapointed for Jeffrey, but I liked the ending. That's one thing I like about Voyagers!...almost always it had a happy ending!

Hm...good cliffhanger. I want to know who this man is and why he did that to Kate.

That's good that Ferris learned to respect Kate...even asked her about being an engineer or teacher. I wouldn't have wanted to get stuck at the top of the wheel though...that always frazzles me (I hate heights) so I try nto to look down when I'm on a ferris wheel. Also...the thing with tenses is interesting...since this is Voyagers and they tend to go back and forth in time...so the grammer bit was interesting and your personal touch.

Umm...what else to say...I'm not sure really...I notice the narrator's voice is very dry...I'm not sure if that makes sense...is that what are you intending?

Either way, I'm going to try and catch up. So many fics to read and review...so little time.

I like how Jeff and Kate ran into Columbus. Now we know why he went to Spain to see Queen Isabella. ;) I'm glad Kate pushed him in the water though. I'm tired of the same thing: the men thinking she has nothing important to say, when half the time, she's the one that's pushing history along. Nice work. BTW...one little error I found: in stead--> should be written as "instead." :)

Unusual choice to hit the "reset button" like that. Although my personal preference is for canon and the original ending left me feeling somewhat skeptical, I would be interested in hearing why you elected to change it.

I would like to know why did you rewrite , is it because of a story called the plot protector? Someone wrote in a story that they didn't like that Jeff went home , the author of that story made a termanator to killoff characters in other Voyager fanfics I think it's so wrong to do that to review is fine but to pick apart some ones work I don't stand for that!

Cool! I like how the characters interact with people from history. I remember you mentioning that in the forum. They helped George Ferris design the ferris wheel! Reading this chapter made me weant to learn more about the ferris wheel, and I was impressed that you did your homework--with it being made to rival the Eiffel Tower. That was really great.

There are just minor spelling errors in the fic--such as "intens" instead of "intense". Unless, you are used to spelling it like that, just like some writers spell "colour" for "color". Now that I've said that, I hope I don't have a spelling boo-boo in this review...that would be embarassing!

Overall fun read--and I can't blame Kate for feeling slightly disappointed in George Ferris, but it probably has to do with the time period and how women were viewed back then, as far as their intelligence goes. Good work!

Poor Boggs, he's all worried for Jeffrey, and meanwhile Jeff and Kate are just "time-hopping" if you will. So I"m wondering when Susan and Boggs will finally run into Jeff and Kate.

Also...the A/N in the beginning piqued my interest. You wrote a story on how Chapter 1 leads into Chapter 2? I mean, you wrote about how Kate and Jeff fix the red light and bounce from 1969-1972? That would've interesting to show in this chapter. Even if it wasn't a long explanation, telling the reader about the time travel in the narration, just before we see Kate playing in the beach, rather than in an A/N, would've helped smooth the transition from Chapter 1 to Chapter 2.

I hope that comment helps. Food for thought. :)

Very interesting...so if I'm understanding the story right, Kate and Jeffrey are now trapped in a different time setting from Boggs? I didn't read the first part, and I probably should've but, I wanted to read this since you linked it in the forum. I like your dialogue, it flows very well. Reading present tense is sorta new for me. I mostly read past tense, but it's good to read new styles of writing. The part with the swear words is humorous...since it seems that many people when they learn a new language...they pick up the swear words first. I'll continue to R&R, please be patient with me as I take forever to do so, but I do like to savor a fic and review each chapter. Also, I'm not familiar with Voyagers! except with what you mentioned on the forum...so I hope my reviews and comments don't come off too wonky. :)

Just starting to catch up on the reading and commenting. Interesting ideas here, as there were in the first story, and for the most part I enjoyed Jeffrey and Kate's adventures. Still, as someone who liked the show because of the Bogg/Jeffrey partnership, I was a bit disappointed by their scarcity of interaction here: it seems as though they reunited only to separate permanently.

Plus, I have to admit that, up until the last second, I was waiting for Jeff's parents--so conveniently and inexplicably alive in 1989--to turn out to be imposters. And I wondered what would happen if some other Voyager inadvertently "fixed" whatever was wrong in that year and Jeffrey ended up bereaved again and even worse off than before. Still, this was quite an original take on the series.
