Sumpter is a great character, reminds me of some of the really good stephen king ones (please take as a compliment, he's one of my favourite authors) I especially love Sumpter's law of inertia, the way he puts it. shel 2001-05-04 ch 1,	abusei loved how lucas didn't even appear in this short tale but still came across loud and clear...nicely presented character of sumpter, i'm sorry to see him go so soon...and, it's too bad we don't find out what deals sumpter made with lucas! all in all, a very enjoyable, well-written piece...
