I'm quite impressed with "Major Changes." I read fiction frequently on Writing.com as well as here and am accustomed to uncovering all levels of ability. This one, pleasantly, was one of the better examples. I was even able to visualize almost all the action. Any fiction that can make me forget I'm actually _reading_ is well worth my time. Good job!

I did notice various instances in which you confused the past-tense "T" endings, such as the words "spend" and "spent." You may want to review and correct these small errors.
