Wonderful story! I thoroughly enjoyed reading the whole adventure. I'm still not a convert to the D/N shippers, but your work is too well-written for me to ignore. Keep writing!! :D

I just read this story all in one sitting, (so absorbing! That always happens to me...) took me hours, of course, but I loved every bit of it. Couldn't stand reading each bit until I got to their first kiss, and ah, did that make me swoon so hard... :D

Oh, and I came across one particular review reply you wrote and it mentioned the tree that was turned into a man? I can't recall if the book has a specific author (the stories within were written by several others) but I do know that the title of the book was 'Half Human'. Such beautiful works, especially the last one about the butterfly. If you haven't found it already, you should read it.

All i have to say is that you are amazing. This is what proves it yesterday I went on to read Two Weeks in Carthak and completed reading the whole of it by seven. To only start TAKEN which I have just finished. You hooked me completely to the point that time was not a factor as long as there was another chapter button to push. Your work reads as a book which is the mark of a true rider. It moves and flows together as a river would. Again I thank you for a good read to take my mind off things. Best of luck to you in the future I will be looking for your book.

I read this entire series of yours in about 4 days or so... And I can honestly say that this (well, Two Weeks In Carthak, Mitigating Circumstances, Enemies, & Maelstrom included) is the most amazing piece of Tamora Pierce fanfic I have ever read. But perhaps I'm a tiny bit biased because I adore the Numair/Daine pairing so much :D
Then again, I've also only recently started reading TP fanfic... and I haven't reread the series in years. I've actually just checked out WM and RotG from my local library the other day, haha. It's been a while but I've rediscovered my absolute adoration for the series :) And it was really your fanfic that brought me to this. I apologize for not reviewing your fics earlier; I really couldn't stop. But I will say a bit now.
Although I'm aware that you've taken a lot of dialogue from the book itself... I think it's really your story that's made me fall completely in love with Numair. I think back when I was younger and read TP's books... I was enamored with George. And I was so pleased when Alanna ended up with him :D But now, while I'm still very fond of George, I really believe that Numair is my favorite character. His love for books makes him all the more appealing. And him and Daine are so well suited. Honestly, their age difference has no meaning to me whatsoever. I have a thing about this age difference thing, I think. Probably also why I'm rather fond of the Severus/Hermione pairing in the HP fandom.
Ok, sorry, I'm not even reviewing your story anymore; now, I'm just rambling xD
Well, continuing, I agree with what someone else once said about your writing... I think I almost prefer your style to Tammy's. You really have a way of playing with her story that makes it even more appealing. But perhaps I just love fluff a bit too much, haha.
Anyways, I read in your profile about your original stories. They sound very promising and I really hope you find a publisher someday soon. I wish you the best of luck! :)
